@Liam14Hall Think this is somewhat true but also think PL football has changed to become more direct so our intense OOP wouldn't be as effective anyway. Teams are much more comfortable going long and winning second balls/duels against us than they were 2 years ago.

Howe changed our style of play this European season because of our injury record in the previous champions league campaign, from his words “we can’t play at that intensity while playing twice a week” yet we’ve had no benefit so go back to what suited us so well please. 👍

Waking after that spineless shit show yesterday, Eddie is on borrowed time with most fans now, proven time & time again this season he hasn’t learned from previous debacles. However I do believe he’s earned a stable summer window & deserves until Xmas for me. Big summer needed.

@AlexMcGuire98 Said it for years, if the fa & uefa made the financial rules where ticket sales don’t go against your spending ability a lot of clubs would keep prices fair for fans. As a collective football fans need to unite against rising ticket prices.

This paragraph. Fans shouldn’t suffer because the club wants to remain competitive. In the grand scheme of things this will be a tiny amount of money generated for the club but it’s a huge amount to those thousands of fans paying it. Piss take.

Not even remotely biased but you’ve never been tested as a fan base if you’ve never seen your team get relegated.
We had a sold out at James park on the final day of the season last time we were relegated and sold out week in week out in the championship.

@ianb40toon I wouldn’t actually say he was , yes Isak started the press but it was actually our back up to the press which made us so good at it, Almiron, Gordon, Bruno and Joelinton, Willock used to win the ball high in the final 3rd which lead to many chances. We rarely do it now days.

Thing is Howe said he can’t have his team play with a press & survive the season in 4 comps, but we are actually worse off that he’s went more conservative. Still getting injuries & lost out identity. May as well have kept our style.

Didnt expect anything tonight but that’s an absolute nothing performance, you either try stay in the game & nick a goal or go 4-3-3 & go all out attack not a half & half like this. City have picked us off with ease, get the young lads on. No point risking any more injuries.

Haha one of the worst decisions was when burn got given a free kick against him for high foot even though his foot was the same height as Doues 🤣. It was that bad it’s comical.
