There may be other facts to come out. But if, as currently being reported, Scott Mills really has been sacked because of an offence that was allegedly committed 30 years ago, and that failed to even meet the basic evidential threshold for a prosecution, then that's insane.

@nicebitofcheese @andytwelves I taught an entire class of children where none had English as a first language. 27/28 spoke English though. Which is pretty common.

@andytwelves Well, I found this quite quickly: Bradford Moor Community Primary School (reported in 2011): A school of 417 pupils where only 4 spoke English as their mother tongue (whole-school, not a specific classroom).

EXC: .@GoodwinMJ’s new book “Suicide of a Nation: Immigration, Islam, Identity” is out now, and I’m only 5 chapters in and have found a huge amount of what appears to be false quotes and basic misinterpretations of data, that appear to be AI hallucinations.

@TheMoggFather @jdpoc Aston Martins, Land Rover/Range Rover, some Mini Coopers, some Nissans, some Toyotas, some Sazukis are made in Britain. Might not be British brands, but very possible to buy cars built here.

As a psychotherapist, my opinion is that people should not be able to claim benefits for workplace anxiety.
The treatment for anxiety is exposure, not avoidance.
Allowing anxious people to avoid the very thing that causes anxiety traps them in a state of perpetual helplessness.

@BladeoftheS It’s hard to know where to begin with this level of fact-free hysteria. The ECHR did not exist in 1933. Reading is the best cure for ignorance. Read history, economics and evolutionary theory, and focus on 20th century. You can do better.

Regarding the ECHR, Adolf Hitler suspended the law in 1933 so he could deal with the communists, then the Disabled People, then the Jews and the Roma...
Long story short millions of people died, and nobody got their rights back until after Hitler was dead.

Walking away from the ECHR isn’t the bold move you think it is.
It would BETRAY the very values that built modern Britain: dignity, fairness, and the rule of law.
