West End FC 2013s are through to the Scottish Cup last 16 after a hard-earned 1–0 win over Maryfield Utd in Dundee today. Next up is a home clash with Musselburgh Windsor in mid-January. Thanks to Maryfield for the hospitality and best of luck for the rest of the season ⚽️

In recent seasons Hearts, Hibs, Dundee Utd have all gone down - and Aberdeen have came close.
There’s real consequences for failure - an 18 team league completely removes that imo

These are currently the top 18 teams in Scottish Football. Wouldn’t this be a better top flight? • More away trips • Only play each other twice • More competitive • More investment in lower leagues with a higher chance of progressing to a bigger top flight

The facts are Aberdeen have won more trophies than the other two and have won them more recently. Also played and won far more European games. Easily the most successful club

Comes down to fan base and ours is the 3rd biggest.
Given a decent level of success it would grow significantly too.
The other 2 clubs don’t have that potential

@gibsona07 I think if Gordon wasn’t obstructed then he was favourite a punch to that cross to clear it. Obstruction meant he was in no man’s land. You also see striker no eyes on the ball & just runs straight at Gordon

Refereeing controversy John Beaton at Hampden in Hearts v Aberdeen semi final. Should Aberdeen goal have been disallowed for offside? Papi Gueye's header & Craig Gordon's own-goal was checked by Greg Aitken on VAR & deemed goal. That should perhaps have been disallowed by VAR...
