Woke advertising is collapsing; from climate-hoax scare tactics to Ricky Gervais getting banned for finally producing an ad that wasn’t woke. The industry’s finished.

F. A. Hayek Quotes@FAHayekSays·
Jordan Peterson explains Hayek’s “knowledge problem” argument “The proposition that central planning will work is the proposition that you can substitute one expert mind for a million distributed expert minds.” “That’s obviously not the case, because each person is going to have knowledge that pertains to their locality that isn’t accessible to everyone. So it’s much better to let everyone make the decisions and sum them.”

Hylo's seaweed running shoes have a third less carbon footprint than the average pair - but Murray's charm offensive won't matter if the product can't match the pitch. Read our full story below: uncommonsense.co.uk/2026/04/02/and…

New Ofcom boss inherits the Online Safety Act... Perfect. The regulator that fines channels for wrongthink now controls internet speech. This isn't about safety, it's about giving bureaucrats a virtue-signalling shield to censor dissent. theguardian.com/media/2026/apr…

Jaguar's rebrand was 'met with vicious reaction' - no kidding. They abandoned 90 years of automotive heritage for woke nonsense. The data's clear: consumers buy cars, not sermons. But sure, let's alienate the people who can actually afford a Jag. cardealermagazine.co.uk/theyve-bet-the…

Nike lost $200 billion because it forgot it sells trainers. Not lectures or woke activism. Make good products, sell them where people shop. It really isn't complicated. uncommonsense.co.uk/2026/04/05/nik…

Too many towns and villages have had to accept criminality in their communities because each attempt to deal with illegal traveller sites has fallen foul of the ECHR. The @Conservatives will take back our streets and green spaces, leave the ECHR, and get Britain working again.

Marketing Dive just suggested doubling down on sustainability messaging... Peak timing. Consumers trust corporate purpose less than estate agents right now. Maybe solve their actual problems instead of not saving the planet? marketingdive.com/spons/yes-now-…

“Ban doctors’ strikes”? Pathetic half-measure from the party that built the monster. Completely privatise the whole communist NHS. Let the free market push the work-shy out. Doctors who strike get fired or go bankrupt. Patients become paying customers, not state serfs. Hospitals compete on price and results. No more looting producers to fund union-protected laziness. State healthcare is slavery of the able to the unproductive. Get the hell out of the way.

Patagonia sold jackets that lasted twenty years. The green credentials sat quietly behind the product. Hylo's got it backwards, and someone around Murray should probably say so. uncommonsense.co.uk/2026/04/02/and…

Andy Murray is back - this time selling running shoes made from seaweed. But is the green pitch a winning strategy, or are brands still confusing virtue for value? Read our latest piece below: uncommonsense.co.uk/2026/04/02/and…

Agreed. Abolish the whole thing. No state pension. No NI. No “universal benefit” funded by looting today’s producers to pay yesterday’s retirees. It’s not a contract, not a pot, not insurance, it’s naked theft dressed as compassion. You breed, you save, you plan, or you starve in old age. No more forcing the young and able to slave for the unproductive. Life isn’t fair. Earn your existence.

No one has ‘paid into’ the state pension. NI payments are spent by the government of the day, not put into a pot with your name on. Using these terms just perpetuates the myth that the state pension is a contributory scheme. It isn’t. It’s a non-means tested universal benefit paid for by current taxpayers.

The entertainment industry now judges TV shows not by the quality of their writing but by how well they advance gender ideology. That's not drama. That's propaganda with better production values. deadline.com/2026/03/homebo…

Forcing businesses to pay higher wages isn’t a “pay rise”; it’s state coercion that prices young workers out of jobs, kills small firms, and passes every penny to consumers or unemployment lines. No more minimum wage diktats. No employment “rights” that enslave producers. Abolish every labour regulation and tax. Let individuals and markets decide what a job is worth.

Today, 2.7 million workers are getting a pay rise. Increases to the National Minimum and Living Wages mean full-time workers could earn up to £1,500 more this year. As Minister for Employment Rights, I’m proud to help deliver this ➡️ boosting pay and helping with living costs

Liar. Keir Starmer blames Brexit for “deep damage” while ignoring the lockdowns he demanded, the Net Zero suicide, and the welfare-state looting that actually wrecked the economy. Brexit was Britain telling Brussels to get the hell out. You hate it because it exposed your envy cult: more control, more theft, more permission culture. No more state “guidance.” Privatise everything. Abolish every tax, subsidy and regulation. Let producers produce. The smallest minority on earth is the individual. Stop sacrificing him to your socialist lie.
