Bob Marley and Peter Tosh in the rehearsal studio at 56 Hope Rd, Kingston Jamaica. 1973. It was in a small shack behind the former colonial great house and had been once the slave quarters. When for the first time i arrived there accompanied Bob and Chris Blackwell Peter was rehearsing with Familyman and Carlton Barrett and Wire Lindo on keyboards Peter's song "400 Years"... the power of the music wiping away centuries of transgression... my thinking was is there any way i could possibly help to bring this tour de force to the outside world-- beyond this island of "Out of Many One People..."
