The state of the British railways is shambolic. I’m on a 2 1/4 hour @CrossCountryUK journey from Bristol to Chesterfield. Standing room only. STANDING ROOM! I asked @thetrainline to reserve seats (which it did not)! And all this for over £150. This is simply not acceptable.
