FT #LUFC 3 Burnley 1 It’s done Leeds United are staying in the Premier League for another season and it’s richly deserved. To say these teams finished on 100 points last season is incredible. What a summer of recruitment what a manager Daniel Farke is. He’s still not universally adored but he was serenaded tonight and he deserves it. A number of players now have credited Farke for their form not least - Okafor and DCL, who were tremendous tonight and proved part of the difference in quality in the final third. Okafor played his part in geeing up the crowd too, who roared to life with even the West Stand boisterous at times. The contest was also very after the third goal and Leeds were content to play out the rest of the game but credit to Burnley who showed a little fight. But this is Leeds United’s night. Another season in the Premier League has been secured and planning can begin in earnest for next season. Leeds could have crumbled after a confidence sapping semi-final, but since the Etihad in November, when it has mattered they have stood up and performed.
