@madrasp0nnu@NetflixIndia@srishtidixit Humour is subjective. The lalalala makes more fun of Srishti than Thamizh. And she took it in a really sporting way. Even though she could pronounce "zha", she was willing to make herself look like an idiot. I think that took courage. Just wanted to support a Behen.
@Leeterature@NetflixIndia@srishtidixit Thank you for clarifying when you dint have to, respect you for that.
The first few corrections of the Zha could be considered funny. But lalalalala went overboard. Manichitrathaazhu was also not pronounced well but it was easily understood as part of the comedic script.
@NetflixIndia, Your latest #behensplaining video is in SUCH poor taste.
having @srishtidixit mispronounce தமிழ் for pity laughs is disgusting.
@Leeterature, you are from TN, and yet THIS is what you wrote. all that kodaikanal wont was just for views?!!
@madrasp0nnu@NetflixIndia@srishtidixit This comedy routine was taken from personal experiences of teaching people to pronounce Thamizh right. We've all been there, eh?
@madrasp0nnu@NetflixIndia@srishtidixit Hi. I understand the Kolaveri. I'm not sure if you watched the whole episode. It was meant to be a comedy routine. Srishti in fact pronounces the Thamizh really well and it took a lot to get her to say it wrong, lol. That was a funny BTS moment, training her to say it wrong.

Cute, Emotionally Unavailable Guy: I don't want marriage or kids.
Me: Damn, I wanna marry this guy and have his babies.
1/ There are lots of good and vital ethical, moral, and political arguments against the fundamental injustice of the #CAA. This thread lists other arguments and forms of resistance that focus on procedural and institutional challenges.
To everyone who may eventually rea this, I wanted to help those not in India understand what #CAA or #CAB is and why many parts of India are rising in protest, leading to a suppression of dissent using police force, which may or may not be reported on in the press.
Insist on an environment of accountability where women feel safe. Not knee jerk reactions for virtue signalling. We believe you'll do what's right @HotstarSpecials#bringbackblf
Here! Eat some Dissent!

@Leeterature@thenewsminute@tmkrishna The sarcasm is lost on me. Your use of Tamil accented English too. You fall flat artistically. But I feel it is due to your conflation of international political economy and flexible accumulation/supply chain politics to racism. Noticed a post by Rajesh Rajamani on the song.
@mythriprasad@thenewsminute@tmkrishna Also with regard to Tamil accented English, it's a musical intonation. It was done to mimic the musical quality of kuthhu-gaana. I'm proud of the tamil accent. I think it's hella cool. Hopefully we'll soon live in a world where the Tamil English is as cool as Jamaican English.
