The success of our military created maximum leverage, allowing President Trump and the team to engage in tough negotiations that have now created an opening for a diplomatic solution and long-term peace. Additionally, President Trump got the Strait of Hormuz reopened. Never underestimate President Trump’s ability to successfully advance America’s interests and broker peace.

Canada is the third largest oil exporter in the world. Insulating our domestic oil prices from global prices would mean exporting less oil! That would be a scandalous act in a global energy crisis. Canada has no strategic reserves to help ease this crisis, what we do have is the ability to keep putting our barrels into global markets and getting them to places where the scarcity is greatest = price is highest.
