If we have any hope for the future generation, we need to do something about our competitive exam culture. This whole "It is so tough that only 0.1% qualify" isn't something that we should be proud about. It is an insult to us as a country. It is a reminder that we have failed over the last 70 years to get more people to study at universities of excellence. We have failed to give more opportunities for our youngsters to get upward mobility If it wasn't for our IT industry, it is too scary to think what would have happened to most people who were born in the late the 70s, 80s and early 90s One day, one exam shouldn't be so critical in the scheme of life of 99% of Indians.

How is this OK? Teachers recording videos of schoolchildren in their vulnerable moments and putting them out on social media? Is this a joke??? If this was my daughter I would have raised Hell. I urge the Hon’ble Education Minister to consider bringing guidelines on this rising trend. As a parent, this behaviour by teachers — now getting so common — is totally unacceptable. @kushal_mehra I think he was done in test cricket . 4 years with a below average performance is a long time. And he got 4 years because he deserved it . So I agree with his statement for ODIs but not for Tests. Even Sachin and Dravid in tests faced questions. Nobody is above the game.

If you want to make India a manufacturing and an industrial hub, then the first thing that needs to be abolished, is this practice of holding infrastructural decisions to the whims and fancies of politicians and politics If a ruling Govt makes a decision on an airport, a metro or a capital and they lose the next elections, the incoming govt should be duty bound to carry them out. Not change it or stop it, because the incoming political leader made some punch dialogues about it in some random political rally. Nobody will invest in a country where a new govt made by a new political party can randomly revoke all guarantees and pledges made by the previous govt, because of pure hatred. These pledges were the reason many people made humongous investments and suddenly they find them evaporate in front of their eyes. And ultimately, it is the people who suffer. Just ask Mumbaikars and their Metro and how it was uselessly held hostage to political shenanigans for 2 years, causing untold misery and suffering to lakhs of commuters India has suffered and will suffer a lot because of this abhorrent practice.

@Sharanyashettyy Kohli’s test record was plummeting! He was averaging around 30 in test cricket over the last 5 years! His overall average fell from 55 plus to 46. Just scored 3 hundreds in over 40 test matches over the last 5-6 years! Definitely time to move on!

@Sharanyashettyy He was carried by the team for 5 years in Test cricket. His performance was very mediocre. He would have been dropped if he was not Kohli.

So it's confirmed that BAD handling by BCCI selectors pushed Kohli away from Test cricket. Doesn’t feel like a player who truly wanted to walk away. More like someone exhausted by the mgmt and environment around him. A horrible way to lose one of the greatest cricketers ever.
