Terrible news. A lot of us will have passed through here at some point in our careers. I worked there over twenty years ago but still have a lot of fond memories of the people I worked with.

For years I’ve worked on my mindset for moments like this and it’s something I now try to pass on to the young players we mentor through Inner Game Academy. Breathe. Self talk. Next action. Not “why did I do that?” Not “what are people thinking?” Just… next action. It all sounds simple in theory. Putting it into practice in moments like that is the hard part. Every player makes mistakes. The best players don’t dwell. They respond. I’m so proud of this team. They had my back when I needed it most. And after the error, they kept demanding from me and from each other relentlessly. To win it in the 90th minute at St James’… That’s one I will never forget ❤️🤍 P.s. Why are there loads of empty seats in the background?

And as a side note, Livramento's defending for the second was shocking. Hall and him are raved about but both have been tortured against us.

Think the analysis has been done to death but Le Fée's composure and pass choice at the beginning and end of that move made a world of difference. The team's movement for both goals, including O'Nien taking Joelinton away for the first was excellent.

@AdysundAdy Mate bizarrely I am so calm about it , never ever felt like this before a derby. Absolutely weird feeling , no PMT. Cant work out if i am confident we'll turn them ower or am expecting nowt. Usually glass half full so hope its the former and not the latter. Pressure is on them.
