If a prospective employer asks you for W-2s to confirm prior salary, that's a big 🚩🚩🚩 Response - "That information is confidential to the employers in question, and I'm not comfortable sharing. Thank you for your understanding and I look forward to the next steps."

@Ryanilbasso Yea our standard had been free replacement but getting redlines from large corps on 100% cash refund if turnover within 90-180d which is completely unreasonable (imo). Creating some interesting solutions around that though

@LegacyGVL Varies client to client in my experience. Negotiations can range from a request for money back (often pro-rated), to free replacement, to credit on backfill. I almost always include offer for a free replacement depending on how long the candidate was in the seat.

How often is everyone seeing “money back” requests on recruiting?

I’ve got a pet peeve of when someone mentions/tags my name in something I’m going to see anyway (email, slack, WhatsApp) Maybe I am a boomer but I prefer for them to just use my first name
