Big Update for The Republic Since Wednesday, May 20... 5 days... 👀👀👀 Major Updates / Features - Republic Opportunities prepared for rollout. Members will be able to submit high-quality content, research threads, community contributions, and Republic showcase posts for review by spending 100 VP. Approved submissions can become 24-hour raids, while “needs updates” submissions now have a clearer revise-and-resubmit path. - Community Rewards hub. Community managers now have one place to manage reward templates, assignments, claims, integrations, policies, and campaign controls. This makes rewards easier to operate and lays the groundwork for cleaner member-facing reward experiences. - Loot Rewards and claim requests. Members can now see loot rewards inside Rewards & Reputation, track their status, and request fulfillment when a reward is ready. Admins also have better tools for campaign rewards, claim handling, and reward integrations. - Quest Board and mission flow upgrades. Quest Board now uses a more unified source of truth, making quest pages more consistent and reducing broken loading states. Missions now better support teamwork setups, optional training modules, clearer start actions, and more complete detail pages. - Community branding improvements. Community logos now use Discord server icons when available, and existing community quest logos were refreshed. Community banners were also cleaned up visually so pages feel more polished and consistent. - Simpler Discord community setup. Communities can now use one Community Activity channel for raid dispatches, mission logs, and loot reward notifications. Setup screens are clearer, with better channel selection and role/ping controls for raid announcements. - Faster, clearer verification flow. Primary verifier decisions now apply immediately, so approved or revision-needed work moves forward faster. Resubmissions reset the right review state, submitted work stays visible to reviewers, and consensus remains focused on reviewer quality instead of delaying the submitter. - Conquest and education review tools. Admins gained a new review view for conquest and education assets, including previews, context, and draft prompts. This helps new community content get checked faster before going live. - Cleaner product language. User-facing copy was updated across VP, raids, inactivity reductions, purchase-spot opportunities, and Legion account linking so the product feels less jargony. The About section also moved to a unified live data path, making contributor and senator information easier to keep current. - More reliable sign-in and announcements. Session handling was improved so members should stay logged in more reliably. A legacy announcement blocker was removed, reducing the chance of announcements being stopped unexpectedly. Specific Bug Fixes - Fixed duplicate Discord posts for raids. - Fixed submitted work not staying visible during verification. - Fixed verifier decisions not applying immediately in some cases. - Fixed raid verifier cases not resetting correctly after a resubmission. - Fixed the joined squad guide unlock flow. - Fixed a stalled “current squad” guide state. - Clarified the current squad chat unlock message. - Fixed quest actions for community quests that do not require training modules. - Fixed fallback handling for older or incomplete quest objective data. - Fixed Quest Board loading/export issues from the new unified loading path. - Fixed conquest modal closing so users return to where they opened it from. - Fixed community banners showing unwanted background styling. - Fixed manual raid setup/display so raids use clearer target names and URLs. - Fixed missing database indexes that could cause some live screens to fail loading. - Fixed auth session persistence so users are less likely to be unexpectedly signed out. - Removed the announcement guard that could block announcements from going out. - Fixed Opportunity submission VP fee accounting so it shows as normal VP spend. - Corrected promotion eligibility so the 3,000 total VP requirement is checked properly. - Cleaned up runtime log artifacts so internal logs are no longer treated as project updates.
