In my daughter’s short lifetime she’s experienced: • lockdowns and closed schools • adults with nozzled face masks • furries • kids changing their identities • people arrested for tweets • monkey pox panics • paedophiles thriving • a country with no borders • a ‘climate emergency’ And she thinks it’s all bollocks. There is hope.

Does this silly little man not understand that Islam is a very aggressive belief system, threatening death to anyone who does not convert to Islam The Buddhists, the Taoists, the Scottish Presbyterians, the Hindus and the Sikhs and the Confucians and the Catholics don't go around shouting about beheading people they disagree with Is this too much for your tiny little brain to take in ? Oh. The doorbell rang. The police I assume...

Indeed. Whenever Jews are attacked (typically by Muslims), it is important to redouble our efforts to fight against Islamophobia.

What words are there for attacking ambulances? Or a concert full of pre-teen girls? Or a dance class for small children? I make my living with words, but my cupboard is bare.

The Earth is a water planet and 71% of the surface is a deep ocean blue. This isn't a static ocean, it’s a living, breathing 1,000-year conveyor belt, known as Thermohaline Circulation. For example, the warm waters from the Roman Warm Period (250BC-400AD) are only just returning to the mid-latitudes. To really understand the complexities of climate, stop looking at the sky, look into the oceanic abyssal blue. The top 3.5 meters of the ocean holds the same heat capacity as the entire global atmosphere. The 3,700 meters below is the Earth’s thermal vault of all retained heat energy. More than 90% of stored energy is in the oceans, driving warm the currents around the world - and back. Modern surface temperatures are an echo from the past. In the deep Pacific, water is still reacting to the cooling of the Little Ice Age (1300–1850 AD). We are witnessing a planetary memory in the oceans that operates on a scale humans struggle to imagine. Oceanic inertia - or momentum - smooths out atmospheric hot and cold spikes. The oceans absorb and retain 90% of the system's excess heat while the atmosphere is simply a gaseous envelope. It is thin, and reactive and largely a passenger on the back of the massive oceanic flywheel. Why ignore the oceans? When we ignore the power of 1,000-year oceanic cycles, we lose our sense of reality. The crisis narrative is local and loud. But the ocean’s physics are global and silent - yet dominant.

My friend tried to withdraw £20k from his high street bank & their response was shocking For 30 years he’s has been a loyal customer of this major bank He called to withdraw the money & they said no, you have to come into the branch He went into the branch & asked asked to withdraw the £20k and they asked 'what it’s for'? He said ’none of your business, it’s my money’ They said ‘unless you can tell us exactly what the money is for, you cannot withdraw it' This should shock & terrify you, because your own money isn’t even yours anymore

The great liquidation: as this short war turns into a long one with a blocked Straits of Hormuz the Gulf States will be forced to start selling off their overseas investments to fund their very generous subsidies. In the UK alone the Gulf States own £200bn of assets, but they will start selling the most liquid assets first - Government Bonds and high quality equities. The current turbulence could rapidly turn into a rout with the UK leadership singularly unsuited for the challenges we will face, a history of Fabian Society membership isnt going to cut it. We cant afford for more emoting about Government support, with borrowed money.

In a further blow to Rachel Reeves it has emerged that no houses in the UK are now worth more than £2m, upending her projections for mansion tax revenue. A spokesman explained "not even Kirstie Allsop is liable after we destroyed the economy so comprehensively"
