@KayinNasaki Think the last skill tree game I enjoyed was Nine Parchments. You could make some pretty fun builds, my best being a healing wizard who ran fast and healed faster than enemies could damage her. And had extra cheat deaths if they managed to land a fatal blow.

also I beg you, no more skill trees. If I was a game reviewer at this point I'd just take off points for a skill tree. >:[ Like okay maybe some games it's a FRACTIONAL negative but if you have a skill that gives me +1% to Stone Collecting that's like a whole letter grade demotion

@wildermyth My group calls it “pulling a Flindon Arrow” whenever a new character after the initial group, hijacks the campaign story. Flindon started becoming the main focus on story events ever since romancing a waterling.

@KayinNasaki @Anlysia My own personal experiences, is trying to get it to do something non-typical is the challenge. It took a lot of painting and generations to get a character with a gem embedded inside their eye socket. My next challenge is a character with just one werebear arm.

Sometimes if I get stuck while designing, I write little notes in shorthand to myself and move on, because it helps me keep my momentum going. Usually I recall exactly what I meant by each note. But I can't for the life of me remember wtf I intended when I wrote "tim allen noise"
