#BREAKING: 🇺🇸 Possible “Plan C” to widen the conflict by involving NATO, Gulf states, and other allies, as the U.S. and Israel may struggle to sustain the escalation alone.
Conflict Lens@LensConflict

#BREAKING U.S. president, Donald Trump, has found the solution to reopen the Strait of Hormuz: create a global coalition including “hopefully” Chinese, Japanese, French, South Korean and the British navies joining the American one and escorting oil tankers. Somehow Iran has been “decapitated” and its navy was “destroyed” but is still able to keep the Hormuz Strait closed to international traffic. None of the countries mentioned by Trump have expressed any desire to escort oil tankers through the Hormuz Strait so far. The US Navy itself rejected hundreds of pleas to provide protection to vessels stuck in the Persian and Omani Gulfs.

Because their algorithms are the real product. If YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook fully open-sourced them, people would see exactly how content is boosted, suppressed, manipulated, or optimized for engagement and ads. Transparency sounds good in public but opacity is more profitable.

#BREAKING Emirati call for Gulf unity against Iran falls on deaf ears – report Emirati President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed urged neighboring countries, including Saudi Arabia and Qatar, to join the US and Israeli war on Iran on February 28, Bloomberg reports. The countries refused, leaving the UAE frustrated and pushing it closer to Israel. Israel supplied the UAE with Iron Dome anti-rocket batteries and crews, but the other Gulf states avoided direct involvement. The UAE launched secret independent attacks on Iran in March and April, the media reports. The disagreement led to UAE leaving oil-producing bloc OPEC in April and reviewing its membership of regional bodies like the Gulf Cooperation Council, revealing its rivalry with Saudi Arabia and deepening cooperation with Israel.

🇮🇳🇦🇪 Modi flew to Abu Dhabi and left with one of India's most significant energy security deals. The context: India imports nearly 40% of its LPG from the UAE alone. The deals signed: - guaranteed LPG supply - a strategic petroleum reserve MoU building on their existing Mangaluru crude storage partnership - long-term LNG commitments - a new defence cooperation framework - a $5 billion UAE investment in Indian infrastructure and financial institutions India is the world's third largest oil importer. It can't afford supply uncertainty, and it just moved to reduce it significantly. Source: The Economic Times

Funny hearing lectures about “elite governance” from a system where ordinary people cannot openly challenge the top leadership, freely organize opposition, or even criticize the state without censorship. Democracy is messy, yes — sometimes people elect bad leaders. But at least citizens have the right to remove them. Real confidence doesn’t fear free speech, free elections, or open criticism.

Seriously? What about our national interests in Europe? Every time the US puts sanctions or trade restrictions on China, Europe follows, and ordinary Europeans pay the price. Warehouse workers lose shifts, factories slow down, businesses suffer, and thousands of jobs are affected. Then later the same big powers quietly return to making deals with each other.

@LensConflict @WhiteHouse Think about it, while the leaders of China and the United States are working hard to safeguard their national interests and the well-being of their people, what are you Europeans doing? Talking nonsense like this...

As a European, this is exactly why many people no longer blindly trust the “values-based alliance” narrative. For years the West asked allies to take economic risks, reduce ties with China, raise tensions, and follow sanctions in the name of democracy and security. Now suddenly Washington celebrates “fantastic trade deals” with Beijing again. Europe pays the price for geopolitical loyalty, while great powers quietly return to business when it suits them. This is why countries should build independent strategies ,not emotional dependence on another power’s slogans.

@BRICSinfo This is the reality of the new world order. While people online push “West vs East” narratives, countries like India and UAE are building relations with everyone based on trade, investment, energy, and strategy. No emotional alliances — just national interest first.
