@lavanya_sf Most people don’t struggle with ideas but they struggle with saying no to good enough opportunities that slowly dilute their direction.

The goal isn’t to ignore the market. The goal is to not abandon yourself. Most people end up building what sells more vs what they genuinely want to serve.   As a result, you can have the perfect plan but still not act on it. Opportunities come to you but you are unable to say a yes to it.   And your business doesn't feel like you anymore.   Not the reason why you started in the first place.   Most times we are looking for safety externally rather than trusting what we bring into the table.   But there is another way of building your one person business.   My clients have generated results by starting with alignment and meeting the market with what truly excites them.   What if your business vision is truly yours, not someone else's definition? Rest is not a reward for getting enough done. It’s basic upkeep, just like sleep and food. Skip it consistently, and your ability to think, decide, and focus will degrade. It happens gradually at first, then all at once. Hustle culture frames rest as laziness. That framing only benefits the people who profit from your hours.

@ShrishtiSNagar In India, its either “Gormint Jaab” or “Private Jaab”. Nuance, subtlety, creativity is optional, not necessary. Ironically, the one place in the world where true creatvity was born. Oh I can speak so much. So much.But it is what it is.

I kept telling my relatives I have a business, I do marketing, I moved to Bangalore aise hi without an actual need (no, I was not working on-site), but they kept forgetting. Year after year, at every family function, they ask me job kaisi chal rhi hai? So now I have accepted ki mai job hi kar rahi hu. It's an elaborate lie I play out now, and somehow both parties are satisfied :)
