Welcome back to a bonus point + DEFCON round up after last night’s OPTA update! 👉🏻Gabriel failed to hit DEFCON but holds onto his 2 bonus points. 👉🏻Saliba will gain 1 bonus point and join Hincapie at the threshold. Saliba’s pass accuracy went up from 88% to 90% (+2bps). David Raya achieved 3 bonus and will keep it after the update, but why did he rank so highly? Raya made 3 saves total. Two saves came inside the box (+6bps), one save outside the box (+2bps). Raya also made a whopping 13 recoveries (+4bps). In a low bps game overall this 12bps addition on top of his clean sheet was comfortably enough to earn maximum bonus. Now I’m still not convinced that the Spurs game has even updated yet! Ordinarily it should have updated hours ago but I can’t see a single change - this leads me to believe we may still get one. I’ll continue to keep an eye out for any further changes to this game. However, as it stands, the bonus remains unchanged. Pedro Porro managed 2 bonus despite a yellow card (-3bps) and would have coasted to maximum bonus without! Micky Van de Ven is simply 1 successful pass away from hitting the 90% threshold (+2bps) and joining Palhinha on 3 bonus, subsequently knocking Porro down to 1 bonus. It was also a sad ending to the game for Danso owners. He was set for DEFCON + 2 bonus (10 points) just before his booking. Not only did the yellow card cost him any bonus, but he lost DEFCON after a recalculation. A 5 point late swing! A few of the games actually updated in time for FPL to change last night, let’s quickly run through those changes! 👉🏻Mavropanos kept his DEFCON. 👉🏻M. Fernandes lost his DEFCON. 👉🏻Diouf and KDH both failed to hit DEFCON. Tomas Soucek made a goal line clearance (+9bps) which prevented Jarrod Bowen from claiming maximum bonus, Bowen did comfortably manage 2 bonus points however. 👉🏻No bonus point changes happened in the West Ham game after the update. 👉🏻Van Dijk and Konate will both keep their DEFCON. 👉🏻We also had no bonus points changes in the Liverpool game. 👉🏻Ryan Sessegnon gained 1 bonus point and joined Joachim Andersen on 3 bonus. Sessegnon gained a valuable CBI point (+1bps). Andersen had a MOTM game and it reflected in the bonus! He made 4 successful tackles (+8bps), accumulated 11 CBI points (+5bps), had 88% pass accuracy (+4bps) and created 1 chance (+1bps)! So that’s everything for this gameweek now with United vs Brentford the last game on Monday night. All of tonight’s changes will update on FPL after that match has been played!
