@DrCasteelEM I compartmentalized. Having friends that had 0 debt made me a little envious of their starting point, but their luck, fortune etc was theirs and mine was mine. Once I got this in my head, I felt less clouded of feeling for myself as well as caring less of others financials

This is why we need more non-rich kid doctors. Imagine thinking there’s no difference in struggle between residents who work 80hrs a week (15 bucks and hr) and one has 400k in debt and the other has zero. Give me a break.
