ServiceNow is definitely worth watching, but I’d separate the signal from the hype. Analysts are mostly positive: MarketBeat shows 42 analysts, consensus Moderate Buy, average target around $145, with a high target near $240. TipRanks shows a similar picture: average target about $142 from 38 analysts. That implies strong upside, but nowhere near “100x”. The real bull case is that ServiceNow may become the “workflow layer” for enterprise AI. Q1 revenue grew 22% YoY, subscription revenue also grew 22%, and management raised full-year subscription guidance. They’re also targeting $30B+ subscription revenue by 2030, with Now Assist AI ACV already above $750M and aiming for $1.5B this year. But the risk is real too. Some analysts worry AI could actually reduce demand for traditional software seats, and UBS recently downgraded the stock on that concern. So for me, this is not “Jensen said buy it = 100x”. It’s more interesting than that: ServiceNow is a test case for whether AI destroys software valuations… or creates the next enterprise operating system. That’s the part worth studying.
