@Alfredtheslime @AfroCourier @zeo4k Being able to check it doesn't make it the same. Close range DR > Attack is faster than dash, so the green flash is checked instead of the specific move. Blocking grants offender adv., and reacting with attack leads to the guessing game iDom ran into. It's dumb.

@Whatsthedeal27 @CiCiSeSe Brother, I was there. The drawing wasn't "a particular style" or just a lighting diff, it was just Nessa with white skin drawn for the sake of Nessa with white skin. People even made mods of Sword and Shield with that design where she, lo and behold, has white skin.

@CiCiSeSe To clarify a bit more, I believe it was a jp artist, and the "conversation" surrounding it and spawning SEVERAL of these dehumanizing drawings was allowing artists to draw characters as whatever race they want. Point aside, their response was stupid and childish.

Reddit user claims that they've figured out what causes Monster Hunter Wilds performance issues – and it's kind of wild. According to their investigation: • Owning more DLC = more FPS • This is due to an aggressive check the game does to see what DLC you own • It is NOT intentional by Capcom but this constant check causes performance dips • The user created a mod that tricks the game into thinking you own all DLC and noticed immediate improvements • All information has been sent to Capcom support • This same user has already already helped Capcom solve a performance issue in Dragon's Dogma 2 (via de_Tylmarande / Reddit)

@Octavius_DP In fact, I'd argue that the dialogue changes from Sub to Dub are less egregious than the changes from Anime to Manga. IIRC that very scene has Vegeta place more emphasis on pride in his race instead of just hating Goku for being poor or whatever.

@Octavius_DP Japan's version of DB is not a clean adaptation of the manga, either. The manga itself was big, and the anime adaptation stretched or added material to become bigger. The directors just did the job they thought would give them the best product, it isn't anti art.

This is actually a fascinating example of the benefits of this loose 90s approach to dubbing. Less true to what Toriyama originally made up as he went along, but more effective in setting up the redemptive character arc that Vegeta eventually follows. It makes him more likeable.
