The left NEEDS to stop unilaterally disavowing violence UNTIL THE PRESIDENT LEADS ON THIS ISSUE.
This SHOULD NOT BE A HARD ASK.
Just so we’re all following the chain of events that have unfolded over the past few weeks:
- Charlie Kirk was killed by a Mormon.
- Basically every Democratic leader reiterated that violence is unacceptable to resolve our political disagreements and universally condemned the killing of Charlie Kirk.
- Trump refused to disavow violence on his side, and he said that he HATES his enemies.
- Trump said that when the left engages in violence it’s because they’re evil, but when the right does it, they’re righteous.
- Everyone on the right online is essentially (or sometimes explicitly) calling for civil war.
- Thomas Sanford, a MAGA enthusiast whose Facebook is littered with insane MAGA memes, drives his truck into a Mormon church and kills as many Mormons as possible, murdering at least 4 and injuring more in the process.
No one in the media, mainstream or alternative, will ever make a conservative answer for this.

There is one person in the country right now who has the power to lower the temperature on the violent and vitriolic rhetoric that is coursing through our political veins. Rather than take the opportunity to do that, like Biden did when Trump was shot at, Trump took to social media to make political attacks on the left while absolving his own side of all responsibility, all before even knowing who the shooter is.
See you guys at the next shooting, can't wait for conservatives to act as befuddled about that one as they are about this one.
