@unreMARKLEble Never used 'heavy' or any cream in scones🤷♀️

Riddle me this-what do scones have to do with Memorial Day Weekend? Answer: not a goddamned thing. Why is #MeghanMarkle posting a recipe for scones-a British food-for a US holiday?
Not only that but posting the recipe using the metric system? While I realize the US is behind because we still use cups, teaspoons, feet and miles, that’s what it is. She lived in the UK for 2 whole years and “fled” back to CA. So why is she so desperate to pretend she’s British or is soooo heavily influenced by a culture she claimed was so awful to her?
It’s so gimmicky, try hard, prove it, and pathetic. Side note: as a baker it’s a pain in the ASS to convert recipes. I’d look for one in cups/tsp before I’d waste time on this. #MeghanIsTheProblem #MeghanMarkleIsAGrifter #asever

@BletchleyBark Happy birthday Doris. Have a pawsome day🐾🎂

@KateriSeraphina How disgusting! I never give money for a honey moon! Different if they were just together and needed stuff, but pay your own holiday🤷♀️

Qu’en pensez-vous. Une dame écrit. 😳

@Gigi_8087 That's what a British plain scone looks like. Whatever that thing is it is not a scone and in Cornwall it is Jam First and then clotted cream🤷♀️

@supertolerant Eating out was for special occasions. Fast food was a bag of chips and a pickled onion after the local disco on a Saturday night with a can of coke. The only burgers were in the Wimpy in big towns and that was a rare treat🤣🤣
English

I was young in the 80s/90s in the UK.
I don’t remember my parents ever going out to eat, except when we were on holiday (in the UK).
I don’t think they ever took me to a fast food restaurant, or ordered takeaway food.
People today have no clue how working people lived.

Boomers seem to forget that fast food used to be a normal, everyday expense for them because it was affordable. You could get a burger easily on minimum wage, it wasn’t some fancy treat you had once a year as a reward for pulling yourself up by your bootstraps.

@Kristinartz Men walking about without tops 🥴. I'm not a big fan of tattoos either🤷♀️

@Kristinartz No power assisted steering, no wing mirrors and using hand signals ( highway code ones) when you had no indicators🤔
