One positive thing I would say about Reform's new policy. At least they're finally being honest about the fact they don't have a solution that involves actually turning back the boats at source.

@JuliaHB1 @DPJHodges Yeah France take in a lot more refugees than we do because like us they’re part of the refugee convention.

@DPJHodges Detaining and deporting new arrivals is the only policy that will deter people paying to get on the boats. Why bother paying £1,500 to get to Britain when you'll be locked up and then sent packing? The Channel boats market will collapse within weeks.

Nigel Farage has committed prosecutable election offences with this video under the Representation of the People Act 1983. The Act prohibits inducing voters through the threat of “temporal injury”, which includes material disadvantage such as the targeted imposition of government burdens. Threatening to specifically house illegal migrants in a constituency if it does not vote Reform is coercive and constitutes a criminal offence.
Nigel Farage MP@Nigel_Farage

If you vote Reform you will not have an illegal migrant deportation facility in your area. We will hold migrants awaiting deportation in constituencies that vote Green instead. You get what you vote for.

Give the people what they want! I’m not sure why there is so much outrage at Nigel Farage’s detention centre proposals. If the Green Party wants open-door immigration, no police and no prisons, and their voters turn out for that, then they get what they voted for. Democracy.

🚨Claire Fox just accused Keir Starmer of deliberately lying to the British public and secretly pushing the UK back into the EU. She says it’s his comfort zone — selling out sovereignty. Labour’s real Brexit betrayal finally called out loud.

🚨 Maguire Tries to Twist Jewish Attack into Muslim Victimhood — Rinder Shuts It Down Live on GMB Kevin Maguire on GMB desperately tried to paint Muslims as the primary victims, moaning about “not enough media coverage” of attacks against them. Rob Rinder wasn’t having it. He rightly called out the whataboutery and refocused: right now, we’re talking about the Jewish community because two Jewish men were attacked in Golders Green last week in what police declared a terrorist incident. Yet Maguire still tried to centre Muslim victimhood and imply Jews are getting disproportionate attention. Well done, Rob, for exposing Maguire’s attempt to twist these horrific incidents into yet another narrative of anti-Muslim hatred. 👏🏻

@Skint_Eastwood1 You’re proving his point with your tweet. The perpetrator stabbed a Muslim man as well but you have deliberately erased that fact and so did Rinder.

@EssexPR So you’re going to deport genuine refugees who are fleeing war or persecution back to the countries where they came from?

@LBC The idea that you get growth back by paying billions into 27 countries many who have large debt and inefficient economies. ..As opposed to spending billions on the UK industrial infrastructure and having negotiations with other countries is beyond me.

'The wrong way to go about growth is to pay billions into the EU.' 'Even if you pay a billion in, but you get £10 billion back in value?' Britain would have to pay £1bn for closer ties to Brussels. Shadow Chancellor Mel Stride doesn't think it's worth it.

We need to stop illegal immigration, but this is abhorrent from Reform. Zia is proposing the siting of detention centres expressly as a form of political punishment for people and places that don’t vote Reform - not just Green, but presumably Conservative, Liberal and Labour too. (And what about Reform voters in those constituencies?) It would almost certainly be deemed an abuse of ministerial power for political purposes, and as such would likely be stuck down in court before ever being implemented, wasting millions for the taxpayer without detaining anyone. If it were to go ahead, it would still represent an appalling waste of public money as these sites might well not be in any way suitable for the proposed centres, or near the other infrastructure required. What’s worse is that he is doing all this to provoke outrage and draw attention to Reform a few days out from the local elections. Reform know what they are doing. But this goes beyond a pre-election stunt. It’s declared as a major policy commitment, and should be treated as such. We need a proper plan to leave the ECHR and restore safe border controls, not gimmicks that wouldn’t survive first contact with reality.
Zia Yusuf@ZiaYusufUK

Today we announce a new policy: In order to deport all illegal migrants in Britain, Reform will need to detain tens of thousands at a time. Migrants will not be able to leave these detention centres, and each will be held there a couple of weeks before being deported. So here’s our promise: A Reform government will not put any migrant detention facilities in any constituency with a Reform MP. Nor will we put them where Reform controls the council. And of the remaining areas, we will prioritise Green controlled parliamentary constituencies and Green controlled councils to locate the detention centres. Put simply, if you vote in a Reform council or Reform MP, we guarantee you won’t have a detention centre near you. If you vote Green, there’s a good chance you will. This is an important exercise in democratic consent, not just for our mass deportation policy, but for where the detention centres are placed. Given @ZackPolanski openly advocates for open borders, I look forward to their warm embrace of this policy. votegreengetillegals.com

Very confusing: Green voters now NOT keen on thousands of immigrants with only vague notions of consent being housed next door. It's almost as if their dog-sh*t stupid view of the world is for other people to endure. Who'd have thought, eh? Enjoy the enrichment💚x
