Great news: #SB74 is heading to the governor's desk, bringing it one step closer to becoming a law in NV. #SB74 mandates that the Secretary of State implement a cybersecurity incident response plan for electoral processes and introduces other technical modifications. #NVLeg #LVN

Great news: #SB422 is heading to the governor's desk, bringing it one step closer to becoming a law in NV. #SB422 requires the DMV in counties with a population of 100,000 or more (Clark and Washoe) to stay open for extended hours during election season. #NVLeg #LNV

Great news: #AB534 is heading to the governor's desk, bringing it one step closer to becoming a law in NV. This program, established and administered by the Secretary of State, will assist county, city, or tribal governments in running elections and improving voter access. #LNV

Great news: the Senate Floor has just passed #AB123, and it's headed to the governor's desk. This bill will make it a crime to threaten or intimidate candidates for public office and their families. #LegNV #LNV

Senate Finance Committee heard a major proposed amendment to #AB499. The amendment would require Nevadans voting in person to show ID before they can vote, or for mail ballots to include certain identifying numbers. #NVLeg

This morning, with only 3 days left in #NVLeg, the Sen. Finance Committee heard an amendment for #AB499 that would implement voter ID in NV elections. We are adamantly opposed to this measure & you can read our full statement from @SSV_NV here.
