@TeamAPS I only play the old games and buy the 25th anniversary sets because of modern Yu-Gi-Oh.

I love Yugioh to death so it's always bittersweet when I'm reminded just how many people used to play this game and stopped because of the power creep and complexity. I've met countless folks over the years and this is so often their story with the game :(

@cinnie_kinnie I think it’s good after the fact. Were those hours for that price point worth it? Playing an ok game for 60 hrs is worth less than a great time for 12 hrs.

I know im on the minority side of this opinion, but I truly hate the way gamers value games through an hour per dollar ratio to determine whether a game is worth it or not

@derekunleashed It’s great otherwise. I just have no need when I have a bunch of JRPG ports on my switch that gets no benefit from more powerful hardware. Oh and the screen being LCD was a weird choice. If it was more affordable and they didnt fumble it it would’ve been great. But alas…

@derekunleashed I am hesitant because they somehow broke a couple games. On Nintendo’s website they still have Final Fantasy 12 & South Park the Fractured But Whole listed as unsupported. That and the price along with a new SD card pushes it up to $550+. I also primarily play pc.

@LemorasCards If I owned an LGS, I would not allow proxies either, with the exception of play testing. Card cost is the mechanism by which you control the local meta. Allowing people to use proxies distorts The Meta and leads to everyone playing with overpowered decks.

@ZephyrKibago @Rorro_Lux @author_pandp I didn’t look at reviews when they came out but according to AI you seem to be wrong as well. They weren’t always bad but not always top of the line either. The graphics were good GBA-DS, which is the era most people refer to when mentioning the “old” graphics.

@Rorro_Lux @author_pandp I will not hear people trying to change history. One of pokemon's main criticisms has always been about how their graphics were behind their competition. They might do something neat with said dated graphics but they were dated and criticized for being dated even back then

Pokemon always had bad graphics. Pokemon always had mediocre gameplay. 90% of Pokemon's success is due to the monsters' designs. The remaining 10% is because no one else is consistently making new games of different franchises while Pokemon shits out a new game every 2 years.

@GoNintendoTweet Sets come out too fast, I hate the events, 2-3 packs a day is too little, rewards are trash. Getting 1 wonder stamina is insulting. Getting like 6 hourglasses for an even is insulting. It’s geared for whales.
