I have largely been a Trump supporter since 2016. The main reason being I think he is the closest thing we are going to get to an outsider. Someone both sides of the isle hate. I’m not naive enough to think the man is perfect. Our political system rarely gives us such a man. One of the main reasons I supported Trump was because of his anti war platform. And up to this point through his two terms he has delivered as the only pres not to get us into new wars. I personally classify a “new war” as boots on the ground, massive American casualties and a long occupation that yields very little benefits for the US (think American troops guarding poppy fields in Afghanistan 🤦‍♂️). If Trump is able to pull off a successful exit from the Iran “war” without escalation and American troops being there for years I will count it as a victory. Am I happy we are there in the first place? No… but I also understand the geopolitical stage has a lot more nuances than I really understand (think China). I also understand the pressures on a president from the corrupt intelligence agencies with “intel” that is really them trying to steer the pres in the direction they want in order to achieve their international crime goals is likely too strong for many to resist. Bottom line, I am not a black piller, I am thankful this country is not filled with trans propaganda anymore and our border is more secure now than it has been in a long time. Conservative fags that love to hate on other conservatives will probably get their panties in a bunch and hate on me for this, but I’m not a conservative, I’m an independent who supported Trump because he was the closest thing I’ve ever seen to a break from the political norm.
