This isn't healthy at all. I don't think we ever saw this level of tomfoolery even with Pokemon. Imo TCG shouldn't ever be treated as stocks/options. People are watching the Asia scene, looking at the results, and speculating on the value of those cards. The world we live in🤷🏻‍♂️

As you know this account is all about positivity. Especially with Pokemon, you'd assume we want to keep good relations with for future collaborations. However, with everything come to light regarding the Pikachu Van Gogh fiasco, it's hard to stay neutral. Here's the timeline broken down to a series of events: 1) Pokemon announces The Van Gogh Museum collaboration. Promises to notify everyone via social media and other call to cations. 2) Pokemon Center releases some Van Gogh Items ahead of time... and it's sold out within minutes (by bots). 3) Pokemon Center releases the rest of the Van Gogh products hours later, and THAT is sold out within seconds (bots feast) 4) Pokemon releases an apology for failing to notify everyone via social media (as previously promised) and promises to re-release the promos to the world, but only for those willing to pay for $30+ orders on SELECT items. 5) Pokemon Center restocks the Van Gogh Pikachu promos without any scheduling (at least they notified Twitter/ X). It is sold out within the first 2 hours (low stock despite obvious demand) 6) Within the week, Pokemon Center quietly issues cancellation emails and tells buyers "hey, we might not be able to fulfill your order" 7) Pokemon Center issues another email telling buyers "Forget about our previous email, we will be fulfilling your order (and your Pikachu promos)" 8) (today) Some customers are reportedly not receiving their Pikachu promos after all. Some products in their orders are also out of stock as well. If you've read this far, thank you for being here. This has been a SAGA to say the least. Dear Pokemon and the Pokemon Company. No way we've already reached the point where fans are gaslighting themselves into thinking Pokemon Sword & Shield had good graphics Tbh both Sword & Shield and Scarlet & Violet need improvements so its really trash vs. garbage but the models & environments in Gen 9 look better

@Danny__O I mean i like some SV arts. But i have a massive, massive dislike for tera pokemon. I can not stand the hats. It ruins the cards for me unfortunately. Im sticking to SWSH era rn.

Pokemon is giving us some of the most gorgeous Artworks we have ever seen. The Competitive TCG is more popular than it’s ever been. Saying the SV Gen is garbage because you can’t pull a $500 card is simply a bad take imo.
