@LetsTalkThe100 Think Turner’s injuries have likely been a deterrent, which is a shame because he has a lot of potential.

Some really surprising names in here! I thought Zaib was a certainty to get a gig! Offers an all round excellent option! Thought Turner and Hull would get a gig with the pace and potential they both offer too! Hull’s left arm pace such a rare asset in the English game!

@harveyboggy @t20tracker Very possibly - a little bit of a concern is the MSG middle order but certainly a very strong top order and bowling attack!

Reflecting on the men’s auction - I think the Brave, Spirit, Phoenix and MSG have had a very good day! I think realistically only one team has had a poor day and it’s the Rockets - really poor strategy with the amount of players missed out on and spent far too much on some average options! #TheHundredAuction #TheHundred

@PJ211705 No nor do I! I think they are another side who really hasn’t made the best effort in using the strong base they had! I can’t see either MI side competing at the top!

Think after the auction - Phoenix, MSG, Brave and Sunrisers come out the strongest and expect them to be competing at the top! Think it was a poor day especially for the Rockets and Fire - both teams to an extent focussed on getting the big overseas name early at the detriment of a strong domestic core! #TheHundredAuction #TheHundred

@PJ211705 I thought they had quite a poor day - not a Rockets or Fire bad but they didn’t make use of the strong core they had! Feel they’ll be too heavily reliant on the big names!

@ManchesterSGs I think you dodged a bullet not getting Mooney! She is a phenomenal player but has hurt the domestic core the Rockets could get due to cost where as you’ve got a good one now with Schofield, McDonald-Gay, Scrivens! And got Deepti!

The only real disappointments were that Beth Mooney was snatched away from us after a strong pursuit and that the irrepressible Amanda-Jade Wellington went unsold. Wello is an absolute superstar and the competition will be poorer for her absence.

@ManchesterSGs A very good day for MSG - think for the first time you have a side that will genuinely compete for the title! An excellent array of all rounders and seam bowling death alongside one of the best finishers in the world!

A very busy and successful day for the Super Giants. The auction added a sense of jeopardy, but after a few chaotic hours it feels like we have ended in a good place. Our highlights to follow!

@John_thirteen_ Absolutely a steel! Can’t believe she went that cheap! I think Bryony Smith was a very decent signing too! Gibson obviously star of the show and due a breakout year! Keep an eye out for McCarthy - someone who has genuine pace in the women’s game!

@LetsTalkThe100 Super Giants finally strengthened what they've always lacked, high pace and middle order batting! Scrivens, Schofield, Ghosh and Brown is a serious middle to lower order and Ballinger was impressive last season!!!

@pjneed2011 Think they got it wrong tbh! Completely agree with another hero but think the should have just got more business done early! A lot of pressure on that top 4- think the bowling may leave a little to be desired!
