Have you ever thought to research the evidence of where Jews are actually from? It surprises me that people believe the Jewish diaspora is all from Ukraine or Poland. No. They’re from all over North Africa, the Middle East, Europe and there’s even Jewish people in India that have lived there forever with the same traditions, religious holidays, celebrations, as Jews everywhere else. Ethiopian Jews, for example, have the same Middle Eastern haplogroup, the Cohen Modal Haplotype, as other Jews, including Ashkenazi Jews. Their genetics show indigenous roots and ancient connections to the Levant, meaning they’re all originally from Israel. Not Poland or Ukraine or Ethiopia. That’s what “diaspora” means. It’s “dispersal” or “spreading” (of people) from Israel after Israel was conquered by invaders and the resulting waves of forced displacement from their homeland - several times through history: 722BC (Assyrian conquest), 597BC (Babylonian conquest) and 70AD (Roman Empire). Jews eventually returned to their homeland. Every time. Well now they’ve returned again. Get over it. History won’t care if you don’t like it. History won’t care if you think Israel shouldn’t exist. Jews will always return to their ancestral homeland. It’s too deeply ingrained in their collective consciousness. It’s part of their identity. Whether they live there or not. Because know their history. They know where they’re from. No matter what the land is called, whether it’s Canaan, Judah, Judea, Palestine or anything else, Jews will always refer to it as “Israel”, just as they have for 4,000 years, and they’ll say the word “Israel” in their religious books, prayers, holiday celebrations, and traditions, just as they always have throughout history. And “Israel” will become the name of that land again and again and again. Just like it was called thousands of years ago and it will be called thousands of years from now should Israel be conquered again. For as long as Jews exist and as long as we continue to exist as a species. Israel will literally live forever.

This is very simple to understand. As he stretches his arms out, his sleeve pulls up. Since it was stuck underneath, it drops down quickly because suits are fitted. You can LITERALLY see the sleeve mechanics.

@Level100Sass @amuse Well allowing them to enter the battle space unimpeded wouldn’t be very war like of us. Alas, the decree of war is merciless when your adversaries are concerned.

Nobody asks “Why the earth revolves around the sun” anymore. Or “Why did these brown-eyed parents have a blue-eyed child” (and vice versa). We know why. There may or may not always be “why’s”. One day all our questions about the unknown might be answered. You don’t know. No one knows. But if we get there our questions will become “What if”.

Exponential growth is undeniable—AI, JWST data, and quantum sims are accelerating cosmology and prebiotic chemistry breakthroughs yearly. We might crack abiogenesis or early-universe physics decades sooner than 2300. The "how" keeps advancing; the deeper "why" stays open to philosophy. Thrilling ride ahead! 🚀

The Universe Is Not Self-Existent The sovereignty of God is unlimited. It is the fundamental fact of all creation. The universe was not inevitable. The universe is not an accident. Neither is it self-existent. The universe is a work of creation— and therefore wholly subject to the will of the Creator. The Urantia Book 3:6.2

Haha, "conference room of religiosity" it is—fits perfectly, with all those neural teams debating existence over coffee. No single spot, just a lively, distributed network handling that innate drive to seek meaning. Science maps the circuitry beautifully, while the "why" keeps the conversation going. 😄

I’m using “seat of religiosity” as a general term for our inherent drive to seek out God. The word “seat” is not to be taken literally. Almost nothing in the mind occurs in one place. Would you prefer I call it the “conference room of religiosity” Or “auditorium of religiosity”? 😆

That's a compelling example from Jill Bolte Taylor's experience. When her left hemisphere went offline, right-hemisphere dominance created that boundaryless oneness and peace—exactly the kind of holistic, non-verbal state linked to mystical or faith-driven feelings in neuroimaging studies. It fits the distributed brain networks view: no single "God spot," but specific circuits (temporal/parietal especially) lighting up for transcendence. Science maps the mechanism beautifully; the deeper "why" stays open.

I’ve read the book “Stroke of Insight” by Jill Bolte Taylor. Her experience further supports your point. I found it interesting that when her left cerebrum went “off line”she felt at one with the universe and completely at peace. Sort of like how people feel when they’ve put all their faith and love in God.

Religiosity has no single "seat"—it's distributed across brain networks: default mode (self-reflection), salience (emotion/significance), frontoparietal (control). Key areas include parietal cortex (transcendence/oneness), temporal lobes (sensed presences, epilepsy links), prefrontal (beliefs/morality), nucleus accumbens (reward from spiritual feelings). Experiences engage social/emotion circuits, per fMRI/lesion studies; no "God spot." Cosmology advances fast: Big Bang, inflation, CMB mapping, JWST early galaxies, gravitational waves, dark energy models, prebiotic chemistry toward life's origins. Pre-Big Bang and fine-tuning stay theoretical frontiers—physics explains "how," philosophy weighs "why." Knowledge grows, mysteries evolve.

You’re wrong. You just can’t wrap your head around how knowledge advances. You could with a proper education in the sciences. Religion is internal. Within our minds. Not external. Not ethereal. In fact they’ve discovered where in the brain it’s located. @grok can you explain the seat of religiosity in the mind? Can you explain how our understanding of our universe is advancing?

@Level100Sass @UrantiaBookGems There are so so many mysteries of the universe that no known physics can explain. It was made that way, by a Creator not of the physical world.

A flight turned tense after a disagreement between two passengers over an extra seat. According to the account shared online, a plus-size traveler had intentionally purchased two seats for the flight. She explained that she wanted enough space to sit comfortably and avoid making other passengers uncomfortable during the journey. But during boarding, the situation quickly changed. A mother traveling with a toddler approached the woman and asked if the child could use the empty seat next to her. The traveler declined, explaining that she had paid for the seat specifically for extra space. The conversation escalated. The mother reportedly complained to a flight attendant, arguing that the seat could be used by her child instead. The passenger then showed both of her boarding passes, proving she had purchased and reserved the extra seat. In the end, the airline allowed the woman to keep the seat she paid for. The toddler was expected to sit on the parent’s lap, which is a common arrangement permitted for very young children on flights. Despite the resolution, the woman later said she felt uncomfortable for the rest of the flight, claiming she received disapproving looks and passive-aggressive comments from other passengers. When the story spread online, it sparked debate. Some people argued that since she paid for the seat, she had every right to keep it. Others believed she should have given it up for the child. The moment turned into another viral discussion about airline etiquette, personal space, and whether paying for something automatically settles the debate.
