Thanks to her, fares are going up, consumers have fewer choices, 40000 people are out jobs, and nothing good has happened. "THIS IS A BIDEN WIN FOR FLYERS!" “Spirit Airlines died yesterday at the hands of the socialist crusader, Elizabeth Warren She must be so proud to add another casket to her achievements. Last night at 3am, Spirit turned off the lights. 14,000 jobs gone. 30+ smaller airports lose service. JetBlue offered $3.8 BILLION in cash to buy Spirit in 2022. Shareholders, flight attendants union, literally everyone voted yes. The combined company would have held 9% of the US market against a Big 4 that already owned 80%. For anyone who understands numbers: 9% isn’t a monopoly against 80%. She wrote letters. She pressured Buttigieg. Biden’s DOJ sued. A federal judge killed the deal in January 2024. Her argument: the merger would cost consumers $1 billion a year. Now look at her collateral damage she dusts under the rug. 510 pilots gone in the months after. 1,800 flight attendants furloughed in December. 14,000 jobs in 2023. 7,500 last week. Zero tonight. And that’s just the people in Spirit uniforms. Catering goes. Fuel guys go. Baggage crews, gate agents, airport coffee shops, hotels and rental cars in 70 cities Spirit flew to. Every airline job carries 3 more on its back. 40,000 people out of work because of one woman’s moronic crusade against the market. And the math ain’t mathing. Spirit abandoned 90 routes during the death spiral. Fares on those routes were up 14% on average. Oakland to Newark: $135 to $288. Fort Myers to San Juan: $92 to $219. Kansas City to Newark up 66%. That’s reality. Not some BS number from a “study.” So Senator Warren tell us how this saves the consumer money? Cheap carriers in a market drop fares 21% across the board. Southwest did this in the 90s and saved Americans $68 BILLION over 20 years. Warren killed it. That’s what moronic politicians led by socialism do. Then with her own blind arrogance, she tweeted Spirit’s collapse is “a Biden win for flyers.” A win. 14,000 people are reading termination letters last night@. And she’s taking credit. This is socialism in 2026. A senator who’s never made payroll thinks she knows how to run a market better than the people who own and work in the company. She saved you a billion on imaginary paper. She cost you ten times that in real life. She didn’t protect consumers from anything. 14,000+ will go from working to welfare. She will make sure to blame billionaires, hardworking tax payers, AI, capitalism and whatever monster they will make up tomorrow hiding under your bed. Higher taxes. Fewer jobs. More expensive everything. She called it a win. I hope you enjoy socialist winning.”

Senator Elizabeth Warren, the architect of the Spirit Airlines dissolution, sold 20,000 shares of the airline at a huge profit just two weeks ago. She bought the shares after she killed the merger deal with JetBlue two years ago for pennies on the dollar and watched them grow to be worth millions. Two weeks later, the airline went under and ceased operations. It's almost like she knew...

Yes, they have ALWAYS been there for us in ways that never get spotlighted... I wrote this on FB...way back... ~~~ Sunday, May 3, 2015 Out to breakfast Sunday morning, Jim and I were there when the guys of MANTUA TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT arrived for their breakfast ... We had a friend show up and we started chatting, as usual...but we did notice when the "fire guys" left, wishing them well for their day as always... A moment later, two of them came back in and started asking around for the owner of a "white car in the lot." … Jim jokingly asked if they had "backed their truck into it..." But no, they said there appeared to be something imbedded in the rear tire and it was going flat... I could see they found the owner and they walked out. A VERY short time later as we left...the boys were working on the car parked in the "Handicapped" spot...changing the tire. They had gotten the keys from the owner and were taking care of the older gentleman's problem. WE thanked them too for their caring. WOW! Great guys that Mantua Township Fire Department has! 🚒

Good Morning Friends... @ohululu @agintomboy @liszewsk @IowaRudeGuy2 @jfrunner We had been waiting all week for "Big Mike" to show up for "breakfast" on the back porch... After 25 years of cats passing through the neighborhood, we are use to the coming and going. Mike has had a habit "taking a day or 2 off"... He looks good, he is "fixed" as far as we can see and not Beat Up like the "boys" who come though "fighting for girlfriends". Jim figures he MAY have a home around here somewhere...but just wants MORE food. Well, we hadn't seen him for a week...(and I didn't want to think the worst) Jim asked a neighbor and they hadn't seen him...so I was hoping he had found a home... Last night...there he was! I guess he wanted a late-night dinner! AND here he was again this morning for another course. And YES...we have tried several times to invite him in... (We have a "shelter" out there...Jim says it may be Mike using it... 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️ 🐈‍⬛)
