Had a great time giving the annual Christmas dinner lecture at Wortley Hall, the workers stately home in Yorkshire. Previously owned by the Wortley family, it’s now a trade union run co-operative. I spoke about Sir Francis Wortley, who owned the place in the English Revolution.🧵
