Let me tell you a story. When I graduated college. NO ONE would hire me. I sent out 500 resumes. Crickets. So I decided to spend 12 hours a day, every day, for 2 years, mom's basement, studying, researching, tinkering, trying. YouTube University. Learning, building, learning, failing, learning, shipping. Eventually I built some apps I was really happy with. Reached out to every tech journalist for coverage, crickets. No money for marketing. So I learned social media and content. Built up a network of pages with over 10M followers to leverage as my own distribution channels for the apps. It worked. Millions of dollars in revenue, sold for millions. I went from praying for a $40k/year job, to building something for myself. No handouts. I've never in my life had to rely on a paycheck from someone else. Fast forward to today. Same thing. Building products. Modern day? People buy from people. Content is absolute king. So I decided to go all in on personal brand / video content in January. Up 300K followers across all platforms for much-needed leverage. And I guess that immigrant / chip-on-my-shoulder mindset will never leave me. I'm ready to go harder, every day of my life, for the rest of my life. And I love it. If you have a chip on your shoulder – you have a superpower, as far as I am concerned. So, lessons here? NO ONE will ever believe in you as much as you need to believe in yourself. If you're facing a tough situation in life – you can play victim, you can cry, yell, kick and scream. Or you can do something about it. I believe that if you have an able mind and body, and you have access to the Internet – there are no excuses. You have everything you need.

I'm glad the Kanye AI video is sparking conversation. Whether you liked it or hated it – the point is that AI represents profound societal transformation. The possibilities are endless, but so are the dangers. AGI will likely happen in our lifetime. Some of the world's foremost AI researchers believe it could happen as soon as the 2030s. I continue to believe that human creativity and ingenuity can never be replaced, but my optimism isn't widely shared in a world of cynics. These conversations need to be happening at every level of society, to ensure that this technology is deployed ethically and safely, to benefit all of humanity.
