Not at all. If Opensea succeeds from its failures then awesome but if it doesnt and it ends up shutting down then it will open the door for another platform to take the reigns. Back when the internet was created, there where multuple internet service providers, AOL was the biggest back then, look at them today...they have pretty much lost all dominance and market share since the 90s and other internet service providers became even more popular.

If OpenSea fails that'd be an incredibly bad thing for anyone who legitimately cares about NFTs in any form. When you take risks in unexplored fields you're going to make mistakes. Starting a small company & building it into something really big require very different skills.
