Home Affairs Minister Hails BMA Officers for Intercepting R1 Million Explosives at Beitbridge Border, Foreign National Driver Arrested After Attempting to Flee Scene
Home Affairs Minister Dr Leon Schreiber has hailed the Border Management Authority for intercepting a truck attempting to smuggle explosives valued at R1 million into South Africa at the Beitbridge border post. The explosives are often used in cash-in-transit heists and illegal mining. Schreiber described the operation as a major breakthrough in border security.
Vigilant BMA officers became suspicious and worked with the South African Revenue Service. They used advanced scanning technology at Beitbridge to detect a hidden compartment containing the illicit goods. The foreign national driver was arrested after attempting to flee the scene.
Further investigations by the South African Police Service are now underway. Schreiber posted about the success on social media, praising the officers involved in the interception.
Schreiber said the BMA is making the country safer day after day by restoring the rule of law at the borders. He added that this latest action highlights ongoing efforts to secure South Africa's entry points.

@Leon_Schreib Good Job. Now do something about the trucks being intercepted in the free state, surely someone at Beitbridge BMA is not vigilant enough or they took bribes.

Sergeant Nkosi's lawyer pleaded that he be sent back to the Hospital wing of the prison because he is afraid of being poisoned and he has diabetes. 🙄 The Magistrate overruled the decision of the previous Magistrate. She didn't mince her words. This is what she said.

We are led by a criminal system infiltrated by globalists. @HomeAffairsSA can go to the deepest hell with the useless DA sellout minister. There’s no war in Zimbabwe; they have a government and therefore must return to Zim. Patriots won’t allow permanent residency for no one.
