My takeaways from the $ANIME TGE: 1️⃣ Simplicity wins. Complicated mechanics discourage new buyers. Azuki assets trended lower (than expected) pre-TGE partly due to uncertainty—people didn’t fully grasp the system. 2️⃣ Reward loyalty, but keep it discreet. Gachas and ‘time held’ bonus added layers of complexity, but their actual impact on the airdrop was minor—yet psychologically, they had a huge effect on new buyers. If a feature doesn’t meaningfully affect distribution, it might be better scrapped—or kept as a pleasant surprise like Pudgy did. 3️⃣ New buyers matter most. Price appreciation is the best utility. A launch should focus on attracting fresh entrants, which ultimately benefits loyal holders too. Declaring loyalty rewards upfront can make new buyers hesitate, which isn’t ideal. ⛩️ Final Thoughts The ANIME TGE was solid—great execution, strong opening price, and amazing content as always. But a cleaner, more intuitive system could have captured even more new entrants. More clarity, less friction, better results. People really need to be spoon-fed.
