You mean like EU AI Act? The problem with much of the bloviating against AI regulation that is the people bloviating against regulation seem relatively unfamiliar with the details of what they are bloviating against. What they really mean to say is we should focus on how AI is deployed, which is in fact where most of the actual focus is. E.g, in my Senate testimony I focused mainly on predeployment risk-benefit analysis and post-deployment auditing. PS Yada yada about “evolving threat landscapes” is just a way of saying we need regulation without using the word “regulation”, to protect delicate ears.
