Not sure. But with what I get we might be getting Slone back BUT working with The Seven? And we are not to see the rest of The Seven coming back since they are either deceased or lost to the chrome Please don't give Slone and Jones rebellion epic

My THOUGHTS on Returning Characters in the Current Story 💭 This update wasn't bad for lore, since we got some small progressions in the seasonal story like Dark Voyager collecting the final shard...but I have my gripes about other things...notably, Doctor Slone's teased return, and our AMIE. Let's have a talk about all these returning characters lately 🗣️ New Voicelines between Hope and Jones (YAY) were added this update, and within them, Jones seems to HEAVILY imply that he will be bringing Slone to the Island to help against the Dark Voyager. While Slone is a highly anticipated character that we'd all love to see return, I have a couple issues with this. As we've seen so far in Chapter 7, returning characters haven't been getting the treatment we expect them to. In fact, it's honestly been quite unceremonious. I want to go through them real quick. 1. Jones & The Foundation have always been one of the (if not THE) most iconic storyline duos in Fortnite, and their "reunion" was something we very much hyped up and imagined for years. When it finally came down to it, it was NPC *dialogue* - not voicelines, no cinematic visual, not even a special individual loading screen of JUST them 2 - simply dialogue from Jones about Foundation. This is something I'm honestly still not over yet, it left a sour taste in my mouth. 🤷♂️ 2. Along with this, Season 2 kicked off to a FANTASTIC start by finally returning The Foundation & The Ice King to the storyline, putting huge spotlights on both of them as this season's main characters. Yet up to this point, we've gotten zero additional expansions on their history, how they both got here, where they've both been, or any sort of actual spotlight on them besides us "choosing a team" to fight for during the season. We've received no voicelines from Foundation, none from the Ice King, and no progression of the "War". Each update has simply added new npc dialogue about their hyper-fixation on each other. It needs to go deeper, IMO. 🚨 3. The Seven making their return in Chapter 7 has been a huge moment for us too, undoubtedly. But somehow, even halfway through Season 2, we still have absolutely NO clue where or what Order and Foundation have been doing this entire time. They left the Island suddenly, went off-grid, and never...contacted each other? Never tried to find Jones, to re-group? If Foundation was frozen, How did he run into the Ice King? If the Order was A-okay, why didn't she attempt to find Jones, someone who was very much apart of the team in Chapter 3? We still have so many crucial questions that I feel like should've been answered shortly after their arrival. Visitor Unknown and The Order got a much better, more fleshed-out reunion than anyone else so far. 😔 All of this is to say, I'm worried. I think re-introducing Slone right now is too much too soon, and she's going to suffer the same treatment as everyone else right now. Where has she been, why hasn't she searched for Jones, etc. The dialogue spoken by Jones even implies it wouldn't be incredibly difficult to find a way to contact her. So, why hasn't he tried already, after their heartfelt goodbye in Chapter 4? It just feels like right now, all of these characters are floating around out there, and when the story calls for them, Jones and Hope will simply "contact them" and they'll arrive. Order locating Jones was super easy, it was all due to his distress call in Zero Hour. I just fail to see why these old characters weren't written in a way that makes it so lucky circumstances is what brought them together, rather a reason like a signal, that could've happened years ago, at any moment. Us only coming across Foundation because he was in captivity is the PERFECT example of how to return a character without it feeling like it could've happened this entire time. We didn't contact him, he happened to be unfrozen at the right place right time. We just needed more backstory to how he got there for it to be a better execution. 🤞 My final note here is AMIE. It was confirmed in today's quests that the AMIE that randomly spoke up after Visitor's arrival, is indeed OUR AMIE. Some people correctly predicted this back when she first spoke, so kudo's to them...but I've got to say, I'm genuinely a bit surprised. Chapter 4 Season 1 was the last time we saw her...and her goodbye was a BIG cliffhanger for the story. She was literally sent through the riftgate, prepared with her own body and everything, to go find Scientist. Based on the destination in the mini Rift Gate, she clearly WENT to where they were taken, too. She was THERE. Now, after all of these years (once again, we've theorized about her return for so long, how she'd come back looking, what she saw, how she'd speak about the seven), she speaks again (she's just...here, now, inside of their suits without her own body again), and doesn't mention a single word about anything that had happened last time we saw her. Let me remind you that The Looper was someone AMIE became much more comfortable with throughout Ch4S1, yet she still said nothing to us on her arrival. I've seen people say this is because she's "depressed" or "changed" from what she saw, but I find that to be a bit of a poor explanation. From a story telling standpoint, there are dozens of ways they could have shown to us after YEARS that she was our AMIE, and she failed her mission, or simply didn't want to talk about what happened. We've anticipated her arrival all this time, for her to not speak a word of previous events and ignore them. Even a simple line like "Hey Looper, it's...been awhile. **sigh*" would've been all we needed to infer that, hey, something clearly went wrong and changed her, and it's actually our AMIE speaking. Idk, maybe im nitpicking, maybe im alone in this thought process, but yeah. I know this was super long, so thanks for reading if you did. I really do love this current storyline, Voyager is the coolest character I think we've EVER had in the story, and I am excited to release my next theory about where it could all go. But at the same time, I'm worried about all of these returning characters, and the lack of time spent on any of them. Chapter 7 Season's 1-2 could've seriously benefited from just fully fleshing out The Order and The Foundation, and then Ice King after he arrived. AMIE and Slone were BIG players of the previous storyline, and I hope Slone is done better than AMIE was. All of this to say, I know everyone at Epic is doing what they can, and we forever appreciate you and your work. I mean that, so thank you anyway. This is just one person's constructive criticism. 💜 #Fortnite

How should we make loading screens more useful or ubiquitous?

LORE - MORE ZADIE VOICE LINES ‼️ Here are more “lore drops” I missed last time. These confirm that The Dark Voyager is a servant of The Last Reality. (Thanks to @FGMuffins and @NearbyLeaks for the help)
