Steve is so awesome! I learned such a great deal from him when we launched the Epic Games Store during my stint on the EGS team from launch to 2022. One of the best in the business and just a great dude.

Thanks to Epic veteran Steve Allison for launching the Epic Games Store in 2018 and driving it to 78 million monthly active users today! Epic Games Store has new leadership lined up and we'll be making an announcement on July 27 ahead of big plans for 2026 and 2027.

@Clemclx So only in the instance of launching 16 players? Did it work with 15 or less?

@arCtyC We tried to start with 16 players + 1 spec and one player got kicked + my spec. So imo it thinks that the spec is a player too, and as the spec isn’t compatible with arena bxf, it kicks it too. Exactly like at the launch of Arena BXF

Just in case you didn't see this on Arenas. Just a reminder tournaments are inching closer. A lot of work has been done to get tournaments (and Spectator) stood up and working for a non-BR mode. If you're a developer working in UEFN, you'll understand the implications. It underscores the importance of projects like Arenas. "A new feature has just dropped. Spectating matches is enabled for organizers, creators, and players with the correct entitlements." Not enough Kudos so I have to publicly give them their flowers. Major props to the team for delivering this before the break. We still have a number of things we want to improve on that feature, but huge, huge milestone. communities.epicgames.com/thread/arenas-…

I'm enjoying these final Heat for the Reload Elite Series Finals. The action hasn't disappointed. Hard to imagine seeing 18 and 19 elim matches against players this good. Higgs+Curve and Peterbot+Pollo leaving big statements. Want to see Bugha+Bray hold on. @FNCompetitive
