@AmbiguousZenith @ArcRaiderAlerts the fake flare is an item you can place on the floor and then manually trigger whenever. like I previously mentioned it generally does not burn and stay in the sky as long as a real flare. it also doesnt shoot up as high as the real one, I think. audio is basically the same.

@AmbiguousZenith @ArcRaiderAlerts ah, I see. you didnt play the game. let me explain then more. when you get downed (but not out) a flare shoots up into the sky (if not blocked by a ceiling or similar) that can be seen across the entire map. the real and fake are visually and audible almost the same.
