@LewisL442006 @B23COD You could do that in mw3 bro with tracer packs. You just have to select the blueprint that has the ammo type with the tracer effect.

@ghillieb18c @B23COD They need to add camos with tracers that are universal on all weapons 👀

@B23COD Red dots bro! Cant wait to see what else. Their bundles are so crazy too! The tracer bullets actually had skins so I wonder if they bring anything cosmetic wise that we haven’t seen before? Combat boots with camos would be awesome!

BO7 Bug Report - Multiplayer [May 19] The "Crosshair Dot" setting (Off) is not respected by specific weapon crosshair types, introducing a bugged center dot that persists across subsequent weapons until cleared.
[Reproduction video will be posted below in a dedicated reply!]
Environment:
Tested on May 19, on ATVI ID: ChadOfDuty#3409721, PC/BattleNet, Patch 3.7.0, Changelog 26714644.
Description:
When the "Crosshair Dot" setting is toggled Off under Settings → Interface → Gameplay HUD, specific weapons with non-standard or circular crosshair designs override this setting and render an unintended cross-shaped center dot.
This bugged dot state is not isolated to the triggering weapon, it persists and contaminates the crosshairs of all subsequently equipped weapons until the player either equips a "Clearing Weapon" (see below) or leaves/ends the current match.
Check out my dedicated spreadsheet containing all findings and notes from testing this bug!
docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…
Below are the findings for all 50 weapons and specific reticle-altering attachments, categorized by their effect on the bugged dot state. Results were observed by switching to each weapon from the M15 Mod 0, which served as the control weapon throughout testing:
Trigger Weapons, weapons that introduce the bugged dot state upon being switched away from:
-Ballistic Knife
-NX Ravager
-GDL Havoc
-Siren
-AAROW 109
-A.R.C. M1 (Not including Assault Frame)
-All AR and Marksman Rifle class weapons equipped with an underbarrel Launcher attachment (M335-X Frag, Cloak, Tempest, Drill Charge), after being toggled to launcher mode. This includes the DS20 Mirage's integrated launcher.
-X9 Maverick with the Javelin attachment; interestingly this bugged dot is sequence-dependent, must switch from Javelin X9 → Any Neutral Melee weapon → Javelin X9 to infect subsequent weapons.
>> PRIMARY FINDING: The confirmed Trigger Weapons share a common thread: all use a circular or otherwise non-standard crosshair type that appears to bypass the Crosshair Dot setting entirely upon being equipped. This pattern is clear in my data log spreadsheet and should hopefully narrow down root cause(s) during developer investigations.
Clearer Weapons: weapons that clear the bugged dot on a clean load, but can themselves be corrupted if switched to after handling a Trigger Weapon:
-Akita
-A.R.C. M1 with Assault Frame attachment, notable exception where the same base weapon triggers the bug in its default configuration but clears it when the Assault Frame attachment is equipped, due to the attachment introducing an inner crosshair.
Immune Weapons: weapons that cannot receive the bugged dot under any condition, and also clear it for subsequent weapons:
-All Marksman Rifles
-All Sniper Rifles
-All semi-auto Handguns (1911, Jäger 45, Velox 5.7), single-wield and Akimbo configurations both confirmed
-Specific shotguns (Echo 12, M10 Breacher, SG-12)
>> PRIMARY FINDING: Immune weapons share a common thread: all feature an inner crosshair element that the Crosshair Dot setting correctly engages with upon being equipped.
Neutral Weapons: weapons that are unaffected in either direction. Switching to or from them has no effect on the bug state or center dot appearance, but unlike Immune, can still be affected by the bugged dot state:
-All ARs
-All SMGs
-All LMGs
-CODA 9 pistol
Being the only fully-auto handgun in the class, the CODA 9 lacks an inner crosshair and thus does not share the clearing behavior of the other semi-auto pistols.
-All Melees except the Ballistic Knife (which has a unique crosshair type)
Reproduction Steps:
1. Set "Crosshair Dot" to Off under Settings → Interface → Gameplay HUD. Record this screen at the start of your session.
2. Load into any Multiplayer match. Equip M15 Mod 0 with no attachments as a control weapon, confirm no center dot is present.
3. Equip the Ballistic Knife. Observe the cross-shaped center dot rendered despite the setting being Off.
4. Switch back to M15 Mod 0. Observe the bugged cross-shaped center dot now present on the M15, which had no dot prior to equipping the Ballistic Knife.
5. Repeat steps 3–4 with NX Ravager, GDL Havoc, Siren, AAROW 109, and A.R.C. M1 to confirm the same behavior across all trigger weapon types.
6. To confirm viable clearing mechanisms: with the bug active on M15 Mod 0, equip any confirmed immune weapon (ex. 1911, VS Recon, M34 Novaline). Switch back to M15 Mod 0; dot is now cleared.
Expected Result:
The Crosshair Dot setting, when set to Off, should suppress the center dot element across all weapon types consistently. Switching between weapons should not alter or corrupt the crosshair dot state in either direction.
Actual Result:
Weapons with non-standard or circular crosshair types ignore the Crosshair Dot = Off setting and render a bugged cross-shaped center dot. This corrupted state carries over to all subsequently equipped weapons until cleared. The setting functions correctly only on weapons with an inner crosshair element; Marksman Rifles, Sniper Rifles, semi-auto Pistols, and three of four Shotguns. All 50 weapons and specific reticle-altering attachments tested as of S3 Reloaded.
Notes: This was a long post, but I wanted to lay out all of the conditions tested and get to the heart of potential root causes that may be triggering this bugged crosshair dot. Note that my testing was limited in scope to Multiplayer, but may be impacting other modes. Did the best I could as one person! Additionally, the bugged dot state is visible when the Crosshair Dot setting is ON as well, toggling it off just provided a cleaner testing environment, and helped spot dots that weren't supposed to be present.
Thank you so much for your time and continued efforts!
