@BarryAnderson_ I think what you mean is cover up not clear up but they think they can issue a statement that should raise more questions rather than presume that this somehow clears everything up total cop out by an association that only benefits 1 of its members

The SPFL move to clear up theories that Celtic v Hearts was abandoned: "Prior to awarding the trophy, we were informed by the match referee that the match had ended and had not been abandoned." They also condemn the Celtic fans who invaded the pitch. edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football…

@ShonaMcLean86 That would be a start but it needs to go beyond the dodgy refs right through sfa spfl are all playing their part unfortunately I can only see 2 teams now who hopefully seize the chance while this is still in view of the rest of the world

@DougstarFF Every post I’ve read mentioning what the rules of the game state the punishment will be or even after providing proof of this and then showing ifab rules stating ref can’t blow while still time left, nearly every comment is a Celtic fan abusing them

🚨🎙️Thierry Henry on why Celtic’s goal should have been ruled out as offside and Hearts have a case for a 3-0 forfeit, applies the laws of the game to it: “Football laws are supposed to be based on consistency, not emotion. And when you actually break this game down properly, there are two enormous controversies that, in my opinion, completely changed the outcome of the title race and the SPFL just let it happen. First, that Maeda ‘goal’ that made it 2-1? It should never have stood. Law 11 is crystal clear: Offside is judged at the moment the ball is played by a teammate. The scorer was offside when the initial pass went in, lurking in an illegal position for a good 3 seconds, gaining a massive positional advantage. Then he benefits from it and pokes it home. That’s gaining an advantage from an offside position, textbook offence. VAR drew their lines on the ‘second pass’ and said ‘onside,’ but that’s gaslighting. The player carried the illegal head-start straight into the goal. They hand Celtic the title momentum. Disgraceful. Then comes the real scandal. Osmand bangs in the third with 30+ seconds left, game has to restart. Kick-off, more time to be played. Instead? Thousands of Celtic fans storm the pitch. Hearts players assaulted, shoved, punched, chased. Lawrence Shankland and others physically attacked. Chaos. No proper restart. Game abandoned due to home fans’ violence. Law 5,The Referee: Full authority to abandon for outside interference. When one side’s supporters prevent the match from finishing and assault the opposition? Forfeit. Precedents exist, teams have been handed 3-0 losses for far less pitch invasions. SPFL/SFA competition rules allow awarding the match to the innocent team. Hearts players had to be escorted out for safety. The game was never completed fairly. look at Slavia Prague recently getting a forfeit 3-0 loss for a similar pitch invasion in their derby. Fans storm, game can’t finish? Opponents get the win. Simple. That’s why this game will always leave a stain on the title race for a lot of people. A controversial offside interpretation followed by a match that technically never reached its proper sporting conclusion because of crowd interference. And somehow Celtic come away with the league-winning result untouched. Football rules are either applied equally or they mean nothing.”

@robggill Of course rangers are being mentioned in a game they weren’t involved in but it seems the despicable behaviour of their rivals somehow means that rangers supporters are equally as bad, it’s ok to call out what’s happened without adding innocent fans of other clubs

@BillingsgateBob @lawrencedonegan Another false post from another who is convinced that they are the victims of poor decisions even after what the rest of the world can see, maybe check who was our manager at start of season and where we were when this other clown came in or just not bother saying anything

@LewisPiperuc7l @lawrencedonegan Maybe your team should employ a specky pensioner, your manager had a full season to win a league, that old boy did it in less than half the time

@iain_mac Took long enough given rangers tried to do this years ago but even with them paying for a full investigation no teams thought it necessary if they had we might not have got to this level of obvious bias that you now have had to suffer

@omarochre @VincenzoGrappa Said exactly that as soon as they posted it no other reason to word it like that other than they’re trying to get ahead of it and obviously after that theirs sfa saying same thing as if we’re to believe that’s not dodgy and forget the rules that should apply to all teams

Our story breaking in the wider media now over the conclusion of the game at Celtic Park, being looked at from a legal perspective by the SFA. There is a “strong possibility” the game is voided by home team malpractice which would see a default 3-0 to Hearts. More to follow. VG.

@youhavingalaugh @Official_T4O We could go on forever as every team get decisions that others aren’t happy with but I’m talking about games like cup semi’s or finals old firms or games like the last few weeks when all decisions benefit only 1 team the hearts pen at Motherwell if scored wins them the league

@LewisPiperuc7l @Official_T4O Rangers have benefited from lots of dodgy decisions going their way over the years when many others have questioned them. It's all over this platform. For a Rangers fan to be complaining about this is preposterous. This is lunatic stuff

Martin O’Neill confirmed that he was told by the 4th official that there was still time left to play when the pitch invasion by Celtic fans occurred. So why are SFA reporting that the referee called for the end of the game? Stop the lies. The whole world is watching.

@AroundTheFunnel 3.4 million views not retweets but still a lot of people taking an interest in this hope this doesn’t get swept under carpet and the punishment is fitting of a properly run association but not sure sfa will agree

@ja42413076 We all know this apart from one set of supporters and the sfa who have been silent following the game only saying the ref blew the whistle hoping it’ll buy them time to come up with any ridiculous nonsense statement and nothing will get punished

@youhavingalaugh @Official_T4O Not many in meaningful games like cup semi’s and finals and given that yous have benefited from at least 4 in the past week alone is pretty coincidental or maybe everyone who’s now noticing are all wrong. Possible but not likely

@Iromg Didn’t see this but saw a clear penalty but didn’t know what it was for meeting with head ref paid off I assume but his slip with saying an official told him their was time left is damming as if ref ended game all officials would have known but of course it’ll be covered up

@youhavingalaugh @Official_T4O I’ll let go when just 1 Celtic fan finally admits that they constantly benefit from unbelievable decisions in important games and stop wanting everyone to believe that yous are the victims but I’m maybe asking to much

@LewisPiperuc7l @Official_T4O "Final seconds and if the result is secure". It was over. Why are you bothered anyway your team wasnt involved in the title race today. Let go of your hate and anger Lewis and ask how your club can get better on the park for next season.

@geordiejosh Fuck all to do with rangers if you search any match of significance for the past 15+ yrs then you’ll realise this and maybe not just make false claims belittling the one team who gets benefited by countless so called errors

You’d just not bother with football if you were Scottish and not a Celtic (or Rangers) fan would you. Pathetic.
