'The Return of the Dragon' The Shocking Way Drugs and Religion Shape People and Societies A New Book by Lewis Ungit https://t.co/o0txQP7HL1

Rick Perry, former Texas Governor and self-proclaimed “right-wing, knuckle-dragging conservative”, is writing a book about ‘psychedelics for Christians’, The Economist said in its recent podcast about ibogaine.

18 million Americans are smoking weed 21+ days a month This is a full blown addiction crisis that even the NYT now says: "It’s Time for America to Admit That It Has a Marijuana Problem"

Gen-Z is done with booze. 🥲

RUMOR: 🇺🇸 President Trump is considering reclassifying psychedelics as a less harmful drug class.

JUST IN: Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were killed by their son, according to PEOPLE. Two bodies were found at the couple's Brentwood, California home on Sunday afternoon. According to TMZ, wounds were found on their bodies that are consistent with stab wounds. "Our sources say the two suffered lacerations consistent with a knife. The LAPD's Robbery Homicide Division is still investigating," TMZ reported. Rob and his wife had three children together: Jake, Nick, and Romy. Rob had another daughter, Tracy, from his previous marriage. In multiple 2016 interviews, Rob Reiner and his son, Nick, opened up about their project together titled, 'Being Charlie.' The project for Nick was a "semi-autobiographical drama about addiction." Nick Reiner struggled with drug addiction for years, first going to rehab at the age of 15. Incredibly sad. RIP.

TRUMP EXPECTED TO SIGN EXECUTIVE ORDER TO RECLASSIFY CANNABIS ON MONDAY - CNBC

🚨🇺🇸 BREAKING: TRUMP TO SIGN EXECUTIVE ORDER RECLASSIFYING MARIJUANA TO SCHEDULE III A major shift in federal drug policy is coming. Trump is expected to sign an executive order directing federal agencies to reclassify marijuana from Schedule I (alongside heroin and LSD) to Schedule III (alongside Tylenol with codeine and certain steroids). The move would not legalize or decriminalize marijuana, but it would ease barriers to research and boost the bottom lines of legal cannabis businesses operating in the 24 states that have approved recreational use. Trump met Wednesday with marijuana industry executives, HHS Secretary RFK Jr., and CMS chief Dr. Mehmet Oz to discuss the plan. He also called House Speaker Mike Johnson, who pushed back with studies and data opposing reclassification. Trump's response? He handed the phone to the executives in the room, who rebutted Johnson's arguments point by point. Trump in August: "We're looking at it. Some people like it, some people hate it." The Biden administration recommended reclassification in 2023 but the DEA slow-walked the process until it died. Trump is getting it done. Source: Washington Post

name an addiction WORSE than alcohol and smoking

Re: the hemp/weed debate... The push to legalize marijuana has definitely hit a wall.... with no new states legalizing it recently. This comes as the % seeing marijuana as having a positive impact falling... And as the % of GOP wanting it to be legal dropping below 50%.
