@IamBreaden @StallionDuck91 @EpicNNG @3denFPS Personally I would rather them add quality bosses instead of mostly dog shit bosses like Voracidous, McGee and Dexiduous. Sure they're raid bosses but are they even fun? Nah. Maybe they can add an area for an invincible but I'd rather they do something like Wotan or Bloomreaper.

@StallionDuck91 @EpicNNG @3denFPS Not many people complained about it with BL2 from what I can remember, but it definitely helped having two in the base game. Just feels like they’ve moved backwards, 2 at launch 14 years ago go 0 at launch in both major titles since then.

@Ordingandr96 @Joltzdude139 And farming them would be painful instead of fun if they make pearls meta. You're right about bl1 with why pearls are fun to get, it's not because they're good (its 50/50 honestly) its the chase a moment of getting a pearl. If they do that in bl4 then I don't mind them returning.

@Joltzdude139 The thing is, if they are just flat out better than everything else, why use anything else? But if not, why bother in the first place? It's an awkward thing to try to balance, but in favour of them, I'd rather have more interesting and unique legendary effects to build around

Possible sad news... Borderlands 4 has a rarity indicator that uses colored triangles. Legendary rarity fills out all the triangles so pearlescent rarity "might" not happen. It's possible they could add a 5th triangle in later DLC or have pearls use a different icon entirely.

@Joltzdude139 I am personally fine with no pearls. Unless they're a fun gimmick gun that isn't meta and just to chase, I'll be okay with them. If pearls are meta though I'd hate it because Pearls have a much lower drop chance and I'd farm to get one with good parts.
