🎸 Lego Microtonal Guitar = Pure Genius @tolgahancogulu just built a fully playable microtonal guitar out of LEGO bricks and is straight-up shredding three songs on it!

@NoFarmsNoFoods The broccoli i bought was farmed in Kenya! I have no idea what rules they have for growing food re. pesticides. I binned it once i realised. Getting harder to buy locally grown food.

If one of the major supermarkets genuinely provided a fair price for farmers (and consumers) and authenticity prioritised British home grown foods, they would create a marketing USP that would probably lead to a huge share of the consumer to retail market.

Sorry to say this unexpected restriction on Grok had made me lose trust in a product i was very satisfied with until it stopped guiding in the middle of a tech issue that could have resulted in a broken piece of tech. Not cool @xai

Dude, I'd swear you me 😐 Holy crap, I think like this all the time. Like why am I doing this still? Why didn't I just hang it up and sell everything off like all my friends and bandmates did? Why do I keep playing? What am I practicing for? What's the point? But at the same time, if I didn't have it, I wouldn't have much of anything else. Video games? I'm not really good at anything, I didn't finish college, I didn't go to trade school, too old for anyone wanting to train me on a new skill, stuck in a minimum wage grind, lost the best job I'll ever have over the covid mandates, left to nothing else but crap jobs. Failure at everything. If anything I guess it's my personal therapy. If I sat around just thinking about it all, I'd go crazy and maybe do something stupid to myself. If I'm thinking about music, I'm not thinking of the rest reality. I dont know why I keep going. I really don't. No bands to play in, no one to jam with, what I play is considered "niche" around here, people may be slightly impressed at times, but its not something they're interested in. I absolutely feel this post man.

Does it really matter if this all leads nowhere? What if it's just your way to be in this world? Music, art, writing, whatever. Did I fail by not becoming a rock star? Music and writing have been the only constants in my life from childhood until today. They have also been my only safe harbors and the only ways I ever had of leveling the playing field when everyone else seemed smarter, stronger, and better looking than I was. I wouldn't have lived through high school without rock and roll. Maybe it's enough to go until you can't go anymore.

@GuitarStuffAndy You don't need music theory to be a great player. Some of the best players in the world are self taught. All theory is, is the written out version of the aural expressions you already know and love. Reading music can be learned, quicker than you think.

There are scads of guitar teachers on YouTube who can tell you what to practice. I want to be the one who teaches you why we practice. I want to teach you why you shouldn’t quit. I want to help you understand that we play until we get old because it’s in our blood and life without blood is impossible.

Day 1 started with a fire alarm & ended with a cracked tooth! We did some aqua jetting at the end of the day - awesome once i got a fully charged jet! Afterwards, cracked my tooth 🥴 doesn't hurt but is sharp 😬 Spa bath incoming 😉✨

@GuitarStuffAndy Its beautiful here. I dunno why every town in the UK isnt built like a Center Parc town. We'd all feel so much happier with trees everywhere, and birds singing! (The aerial adventure was AWESOME with incredible views too) 🤘
