#TheDilleyShow 6-28-23 Thank you Dilley for everything. As a parent, there is nothing more agonizing than not being able to make the emotional, mental & physical anguish caused by trauma go away. Lexi (and 5 of her classmates) were abused physically & mentally, verbally attacked & bullied by their Catholic School teacher for an entire school year. The professional agencies designed to help & protect these young children failed on a colossal level. So when @LexiZ4224 & I started watching #TheDilleyShow in 2017 it was during a very difficult time. @WarlordDilley made me laugh. He made Lexi laugh. He gave me something to look forward to each day instead of fighting w/myself, my thoughts & my fears. He taught politics in an unconventional way that was relatable. He mixed real life experiences with humor while being unapologetically blunt. Consistency matters & yes loyalty is everything. Dilley I was listening to this live while showering & getting ready to take @arnie_goodman to the VA for a procedure. Talk about humbling.
