On Kentucky, I’ve heard a couple of different reasons for such a difference in the vote count for Governor, SOS & AG 1. They re-elected their Democrat Governor because he was an incumbent 2. Candidates matter 3. It’s not an anti incumbent year But I’m not buying any of that… Something is off here Maybe 10 yrs ago, those explanations would be more believable But not in today’s world Just look at the way the Democrat lunatic idiot lashed out at a Republican poll watcher in Arlington There is no middle ground anymore You are either with us or you are against us…and both sides feel that way Not to mention, Biden is so bad and is destroying this country… People feel like they need State officials to buffer them from the catastrophe of the Biden Administration Also, thinking about ticket splitting… There is no way this many Republicans voted for a Democrat governor It’s not plausible On the other hand, there is no way that Democrats voted for a Dem governor and voted for a Republican SOS &/or a Republican AG Or that they voted for the re-election of the Gov but didn’t vote for SOS or AG The SOS controls elections & the AG is the top law enforcement officer in the state And Democrats left these blank?!? And as far as candidates matter… This state continues to re-elect Mitch McConnell, so that’s not an excuse And on the other hand, people say Cameron was McConnell’s hand picked guy, so it makes no sense that they would elect McConnell, but not Cameron… You can’t have it both ways! And when KY ranks at #39 among the best states by US News & World Report, why would people vote for more of the same? The economy ranks at #43 and healthcare ranks at #46 There is nothing more personal than your pocketbook or healthcare And you want me to believe people are okay with those rankings?!? @mateosfo The thing I wish people would internalize is that “clean” cars are not the answer. Redesigning urban spaces so that daily life does not require driving everywhere, the solution to climate change is drastic reduction in driving.

If there's one thing I wish people concerned about climate change would fully internalize, it's this: Most of the new cars sold today will still be on the road, somewhere, in 2035. That means that most of the global car fleet of 2035 has *already been sold.*
