@unhinged_goblin The worst part is that it often comes from other aces, like being sex repulsed is the “acceptable ace” and that they “just want good ace representation” as if sex-repulsed aces don’t get all the rep and that it’s the reason alloaces get told they aren’t “really ace” and harassed.

To insist that a character highlighting the importance of non-romantic relationships is MORE important than showing that romantic relationships with ace people can be meaningful is unintentionally hurtful, and I wish more people would consider this in their talking points.

I understand what this subset of the aroace comm is saying, but you have to understand that alloace people are, by default, assumed to not want romantic relationships and we're tired too. We also want to see romantic ace relationships normalized. We matter too. #acerep

@SmolTangie I had this same theory, but Al is seen close by to Angel many times. Maybe his power disrupts Vox's hypnosis on Angel? All the times we saw Vox hypnotize Angel, it was when Alastor was distinctly not around until the tower, and that was after Alastor had already surrendered.

@feroni913 @EvaHellverse He really isn't though. Alastor is self made. His power may be through Rosie but he used his soul to buy it. Rosie isn't his partner she's his boss, and everything after that, Alastor had to do at her command. Vox had to have partners to get where he is.
