If Liverpool are thinking about a change of manager in the summer, and if it were to be Alonso, I don’t see why you wouldn’t give him the remaining games to try and salvage the season when he’s available.

I get the Gerrard thing because I’ve said, he’d want the job plus he’s not had a great run in management apart from Rangers.
We’ll see if this meeting happens or it’s bollox.

Liverpool will ask Xabi Alonso once again whether he is willing to cut short his break from football to manage the club and replace Arne Slot. There are mixed views on bringing Steven Gerrard in as temporary manager until the summer, and it will require convincing certain officials at the club.

No balance or hard players in midfield.

Although, with the balance of the squad and injuries, I wouldn’t expect anyone coming in the perform miracles but a lift is needed.

Liverpool have a duty to protect the club's interests. A decision needs to be made on Arne Slot's future and Steven Gerrard as temporary manager until the end of the season. The current situation is disgraceful.
