@Liam14Hall Think this is somewhat true but also think PL football has changed to become more direct so our intense OOP wouldn't be as effective anyway. Teams are much more comfortable going long and winning second balls/duels against us than they were 2 years ago.

Howe changed our style of play this European season because of our injury record in the previous champions league campaign, from his words “we can’t play at that intensity while playing twice a week” yet we’ve had no benefit so go back to what suited us so well please. 👍

@MattW36565526 It's why we needed to sign Fernandes last summer! Think the Gordon/Tino/Hall summer is the model we need to go for. Young emerging talents who can then be sold for profit at a later date. Just tough to do when we need results now and often these players are investments

This is our biggest problem within our fanbase, these are the sorts of players they expect the club to be making, not the next Fernandes, the current one, for what, £80 million?
To them, we should be acting the same way as a Liverpool or PSG, that attitude will kill us off.

@JakeJackmann @Hey_Gill That's fair enough, I just question the word trust that's all. The board have shown us no reason to trust them more this summer and I have no reason to trust whoever they'd appoint to realistically replace Howe. For me, this mean I trust Howe more than the alternatives.

As things stand, more likely underperforming 'stars' - insert your own (increasingly obvious) names in here - will be chopped this summer than Eddie Howe. Going to be a big summer of change at NUFC - but the plan is for the head coach to lead it.

@OgaPhysio @Giniesta10 @Jake_armstrong9 This isn't just specific to us either. The physicality of the PL now makes it much harder for U21s to step up even when they are talented. People don't recognise how big a jump top level PL football is from U21s. It's why most city/chelsea grads have been loaned previously.

It’s been clear for a while a couple of Tonali, Livramento and Gordon would go. Seems likely all three will leave now.
If players don’t want to be there #nufc need to maximise the money and replace with players who do.
